What do you mean "ever"? Still do. In fact I am wearing a 30 year old pair of Capezios right now. Now there is a company that knew how to make sewn gear. Aw crap now I am nostalgic. Where's my dance belt? Ha ha ha. I was a climber and a dancer wearing tights in both sports long before lycra became the obligatory climbing fashion statement d'jour. I thought it was funny that Lycra "caught on". After all I had been wearing tights and leg warmers on walls for years. You got a problem with that? LOL

Still do. They are by far the most comfortable climbing togs ever--kinda like wearing support hose. Try em and you'll be climbing two grades harder in no time.

i used to, i mean i was the first climber to wear lycra in the states, circa 83, after i had gone to france that summer and seen the local climbing fashion. lycra was typically wsorn with legwarmers back then, and i still wear legwarmers on colder days. ss

I dunno, I was spotting Christian Griffiths on a mantle and he was wearing this purple lycra thing that made his lil weenie and nutsack stick right out. I gotta watch to spot him, so Im forced to stare at his privates shaking around as he struggled to press it out....I dont wanna see that crap. Wouldnt especially wanna show it either.

Does fleeced lycra count? I live in the stuff in the winter but readily admit I wear boxers underneath and whatever pants or shorts over them. It's the mountains version of a wetsuit.

Lycra was so gay.
Not that there is anything wrong with it.

Proudly displayed my finest assets. I still wear lycra for running and can be spotted wearing tights while climbing to this day. I love the freedom of movement while simultaneously hiding skin that never tans.
Lycra and shorts probably hooked me into running and climbing.
