I am not convinced either of you have climbed 'rock' or anything outside to date. So I request some proof before you keep on posting this OT stuff on this site. I need a photo, from the last 3 months of you guys leading, following, standing next to a wall, or at least holding gear in you grimy paws.
I was out this Sat w/geir and marcy doing a non FA-FA -we did three new pitches only to find someone had bagged the tower by an alternate summit line which was out "4th" pitch. I can get a photo of my fat arse outside- can you????
and a warning to Locker, don't send them a photoshop image to post!!!

super lame. both calling out people to prove themselves as climbers and proving to be a climber. Who cares, klimmer just freaks out about everything and may be shortening his lifespan due to serious anxiety problems. Being a climber is the least of his worries.

In my defense . . .
I'm actually a nice fun loving guy. I just like talking about deep meaningful stuff. And yes, some stuff is waaaaaaay out there. Where is the fear? What is the harm? Can't we talk about meaningful stuff?
I mean as climbers we are pretty used to fear, and stress. Who's gripped?
I'm pretty easy going and even stress free these days. My soul is happy.

Your world view is pretty out there, seems like you dwell on mostly negative stuff. Should we take up arms and crush those that hold us down? Do we revolt and kill who we think is behind the curtain?

Karodrinker,
The topics are negative and challenging for sure only because this is the period of time we live in. Things have radically changed. Just watch the news.
But the answer is very positive. Return to GOD through the redemption of Jesus Christ. Read his word. It is a light into the past, present, and future. He doesn't want us to be scared or fearful. He wants us to be brave, without fear, and to know what is going on and to be prepared. Knowing the enemy's plans is half the battle. GOD lays out the evil ways of the deceiver. We know what they intend to do.
Violence is never the answer. Read the sermon on the Mount. You fight them with Love, Truth, and the Power of GOD's word. You expose them for who they are, and what they are, and what they intend to do. Light chases away darkness. They hate being exposed. You expose their plans. That is what getting the word out is all about.
Truth, Love, and Peace win over Lies, Hate, and War. It will be hard and with challenges for sure. But GOD promises to be there with us.
Do you paraglider flyers ride thermals like hang-glider folk do?
AC,
Yes. We do what the HGs do. We fly ridge lift, thermals, convergence, magic evening lift etc. They can fly faster and further though.
Our wings spontaneously fold up sometimes due to turbulent air. That's a lot of fun. Makes everyone a believer! Lots of prayers to GOD in those moments.
(Actually it isn't that bad, we got stuff to do to make it right and continue to fly. But I have been in air with all hands on deck, and praying a lot! lol)

beat them bushes, gotta be a witch in there somewhere.
i knew klim was real climber right from the start. he also has a lead climber's courage and boldness in broaching controversial subjects on here. i don't agree with him on everything, but he figured out the evidence about 9/11. you have to have an i.q. of over 100 for that. klim's a religious christian, and he expends much energy trying to fit the anomalies of life into that ages-old explanation system. i try not to give him too hard a time about it.
nwo may be another story. we've communicated privately and i've encouraged him to talk more about climbing on here as it might give him some credibility. he hasn't done so, so perhaps he could be a non-climber. most people on here don't have big problems with that. we've all come to suspect that graniteclimber isn't a climber either. LEB, who has never been in the closet about herself in that department, does a great job of wadding things up. a lot of guys hate her for it, but those of us who don't have issues with our machismo find her amusing and, occasionally, delightful.
rick d allegedly hails from someplace in arizona, a state i know fairly well and which lists no communities by the name of pueblo or old pueblo. curious bit of artwork on his avatar, though--looks like both the rope and the ring are made of otherworldy materials. i wonder if he's a good ET or a bad one.

Tony,
Thanks.
I would like to say, that even non-climbers here can add a great deal to the conversation. I do not think one has to be a climber to post here at ST.
I'm glad that NWO posts and others who are brave to do so also. They add to our experience.
It is really nice when people can come here and chime in who just want to add in on an interesting topic, have a great life experience, they are an expert in a particular field, or perhaps they are looking for someone in the climbimg community, perhaps it is a memorial message regarding their loved one or friend etc. Whatever.
Everyone is welcome and should feel welcome.
Who knows maybe you will convince them to take-up climbing? There is a special bond between the brotherhood and sisterhood of the rope. We depend on each others lives and place our care in each others hands and that is a very special bond. Ir is a bond built on trust.
(Now mind you, a few people who post here and are abusive would necessitate "penalty slack" if I was climbing with them. Just kidding.)
That is a big reason I like ST. And yes we do talk climbing and adventure sports and I like that too. It is the jewelers clothe in the background of the spectacular OT diamonds in the foreground.
NWO you should continue to post up. Climber or no climber. Besides I need help from other truth seekers. We need the back-up. :-))
Rick d,
Get over yourself. Go through the archive and see my posts. People here on ST have met me. Some know who I am.

I don't think one needs to be a climber to post here, and many who DO climb have been "excommunicated" recently for poor taste and unacceptable posts; i.e. ": Medusa!
There is nothing wrong with Klimmer's posts "being offensive" and harmful to others. JMHO! They give others opportunities to take cheap shots, too!

Really? Lame. I may think most of the alien/jesus resurrection stuff is straight-jacket worthy, but I stand by Klimmer's right to post whatever he wants on this forum, or anywhere else for that matter.
Since you apparently want to be "the decider" as to who gets to post here, why not show us some of your creds like maybe free-soloing some sick Bachar route or leading Beth Rodden up some sick .15d pitch? Otherwise, you're just a little nancy-boy with his panties in a bunch.
If you don't like the thread, don't click on it. Simple as that. Sheesh!

Well said. You know the word of God and you share it humbly with kindness and love. You do know the truth and the fate of the lost and realize the seriousness of the times that we are living in according to scripture. The bible is so accurate about prophecy. I am a born again christain and a rock climber, family man. I have been climbing rocks for 13 years and I have accepted Christ a year and a half ago. My eyes are totally open now that I have gave my heart to God. I am so thankful that God is patience and that Jesus didn't return before I got saved. Keep up sharing the word of God with those that don't believe and lift up those that do believe. As for this NWO stuff, it's setting the stage for the rise of the antichrist. Thanks for the encouraging words and for sharing. Be watchful and be ready because, that day will come as a thief in the night, when Christ returns for the church. Armando

Nobody really knows what's ultimately true. Look back at history and see who had a clue and then what happened to them (Rome for instance)
So having your world view shaken up a bit is a good thing, even if you have to sort through the wheat and the chaff. God knows, money rules, not votes.
Folks feel threatened by Klimmer shaking the security of their world view, so they lash out. But it's the haters that show negative colors in their responses if they don't know evidence or reason in rebuttal (which is always welcome)
Iive and let live. There are very few posts on Supertopo that meet everyone's idea of how it should be
peace
