Jim you're right didn't even think of that. Thanks so much Jim.
Haven't got to use the rope yet as all I've been doing these past few days is carrying big ass heavy people down the trails with broken ankles.
Last evening it was in the top upper switchbacks of Yosemite Falls trail.
Another 200+ pound lunker to lay waste our backs ....

Werner....
That is the prototype friend with the small trigger bar correct?
I heard Ray handed em out to his friends before they hit the market.
I have seen the "Hiskes" model before.
The OE Friend should bring you in a few more bucks.

Yes some of these are definitely the original Jardine friends.
I got them directly from him out of his van.
I don't need these anymore after studying the technique of some kid named Honnold .....

We use that exact same wheel on all carry-outs.
Ever carry anyone down the Yosemite falls trail, stzzo, even with the wheel?
Try it sometime and report back ....
Also carry that damn thing up there too!

We are rolling them.
It's so rocky on that trail you end up really having to work hard.
You should try it some time and you'll see right away what I'm talking about.
It's not some smooth paved thing. You really get knocked around by that trail managing a heavy loaded litter with wheel.

Not to make light of the lunker's misfortune or that of your back but this made me laugh out loud.

Darn foolishness to carry someone down from the upper switchbacks. Take them to the Point and Zip them down to the Village. Easy.

Perhaps a large, two-wheeled wheelbarrow would do the trick for rescues. Or even a three-wheeler - stabler.
I have several friends just like that one in the photo.

So there's a Grant model? Does it come with an OE attached to the cam?
