Heavy bass from the speakers, that is.

Is anyone else a fan of deep mindmelting bass?

I am. I get to go see my favorite DJ, Bassnectar on Wednesday.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I love going out to see a good DJ spin his stuff.

It's all because of Phish, dammitt! Their deep, funky jams turned me onto a whole other genre.

Now I'm the old (for the scene) guy at the club getting down to this stuff.

I leave the club feeling like a kid again though.

I'm sewing up some new faux fur garments for the show today.

Maybe it's just a Burning Man thing?

Woot!!!

Grand Funk Railroad, Daft Punk, Jack Bruce, Mike Paul! A good heavy bass that thumps to your core, only listen at a sound level where things rattle and move!

Bass fishing is the redneck form of trout fishing. Catch and release only.

Norwegian, if I was talking about bass ale, the title would have read 'Bass, it's what's for breakfast.'

I'll second the PFALM. I used to have a bumper sticker stating as much.

2001 jam used to get crazy, man.

EDIT; Edge, too funny!

Bassnectar is rocking my i-pod as I opened this thread...too funny. He rocks my world! You like Cozza Frenzy?

I haven't heard Cozza Frenzy yet, how is it?

I've seen him a few dozen times, mostly on the playa.

This show should be interesting. His club shows seem to lack something, but Burlington VT is a heady town so I'm hoping for the best.

Stoked that there is at least one other Lorin fan out there! (Burn Rock Burn where are you?)

Black Lab has about 4 songs total (that I've heard) that are actually decent.

This Blood
Living Too Fast

Where can I get more of this type of sound?

Blue, suck it, bro.

If it's not yer style, tune out.

Buju, I haven't found the dub war set, thanks, I'm looking right now.

I know that they throw shows called 'Dub War NYC', where a bunch of DJ's come and throw down with the Sub Swara DJ's. Must be a bit of that?

JOEYF, who is this group? Rock, electro? I'd like to check them out.

I just love bass in all its forms, be it musical or ale.

Edit; Blue, no worries, we're just talking apples and oranges. I've heard that bass tastes like crap, are your keepers for show or for eatin'?
