This week we recovered a substantial amount of climbing gear from one of our local tweek theif burglars. The gear was most likely stolen from the OC/LA area in the last few weeks. I have not seen all the gear, but have seen pictures of some of the gear (significant amount of trad gear). From the amount of gear my partners are describing it my be someones big wall rack. We have called several surrounding departments in an attempt to locate the owner with no luck.
I would like to make an unhappy climber a very happy climber. If you had your rack stolen or know who this rack belongs to please send me an email so we can reunite you with your stuff.

My buddy/partner lost a ton of gear in Long Beach last month. Please get in contact with me. kylejoeturner@hotmail.com
I emailed him just now. The above post was a reply I posted from him. Again all the metal is marked with purple nail polish and he can give you a full list of what he lost.
Thanks for posting this, even if it turns out to not be his.

A "happy ending" would be sending these tweakers off to "slave island" where they would be forced to mine bat guano and listen to Kenny G all day.
