Trip Report
Lurking Fear The Fun Way!!!
Wednesday November 12, 2014 7:35pm
Fun was the name of the game on this trip! We were hoping to climb the salethe wall, so on friday we climbed freeblast thinking we would haul to mammoth and blast the next day! but, there were a little bit of crowds and we were on a tight schedule and couldn't afford to wait a day! so, a rest day at shuteye ridge that left me super stoked, and we were off for lurking fear on sunday!

We were having a very hard time deciding if we should climb the route in a day or in 2 days... Wandering what would be more fun and rewarding. we finally reached the decision of a 2 day cruise! so, off we went!!!!!!!

We switched leads and I went for pitch 1 sense I have been on it! We brought a jetboil and some mountain house meals (a first for me!) and it was nice compared to the cold canned food! There was no suffering on this trip and it was all to nice! the pitches were all so dang fun and never ended! the 5.12 splitters down low were just the most beautiful C1 climbing in the world! it felt as if it was the finger crack comparison of the stove legs!

We slept at end of pitch 7 and thanks giving! can't wait to get back and do it again! OOOGGGHHH!!

Ya, a person who climbs 5.5 would crush that thing with a pair of jugs and a couple aiders! Go get it!!!

Still got 3 more years until I am 20!!!

We topped out and walked down east ledges!

And no, I don't wear gloves, but my partner was wearing mechanic gloves that he loves!
