In memory of Andy Nisbet and Steve Perry who perished after climbing Ben Hope in Scotland back in February of this year.
There were some wonderful and thoughtful supertopo posts and comments shared at that time, but I was away from supertopo except to read some of the posts and grieve, and did not participate in the discussion.

Hardly a day goes by, especially this year with quite a number of climbers dying, that I don't think about Andy and Steve Perry (with whom I’d not climbed, but met on facebk due to Andy), and their loss to their families, friends, and climbing partners.
I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Andy at the BMC Winter International Meet in the Cairngorms in January 2014, where I was introduced to his world of winter climbing and a few of the many people in his circle of climbing partners and friends. We climbed together after the meet (http://www.supertopo.com/tr/Scottish-Winter-Climbing-the-BMC-International-Winter-Meet-in-the-Cairngorms/t12414n.html?fbclid=IwAR1WaXlF-2PiPr-DM2AJvE-pqlcmUYmf-wdYcR-Xg2LJfWmJpkx13bqDREE), in the Indian Himalaya (2015), California’s Sierra Nevada (2015), and again in Scotland (2016). He was always smiling and so modest, enthusiastic, generous, and caring.
An inspirational human being.
For this TR in Andy's memory, I had plan to load some selected pics of Andy from times climbing with him, but I cannot seem to get the pictures to load on Supertopo - darn. However, here's a link to a brilliant video made by Dave MacLeod of and interviewing Andy and his longtime climbing partner and Piolet D'Or winner Sandy Allan (along with cameo appearances by Steve Towne taking some falls new routing with Andy, Sandy, and me). https://vimeo.com/129270567?fbclid=IwAR3Q0oGlQp2qMdWGnAC9RpttSvN4PcEa-lsMRKDJgXLjlTkz_dUbSG2r0tw
