Rites of Passage parallels Shune’s Buttress up the shady north facing wall of Red Arch Mountain. The climb begins up and left of Shune’s past a large fir tree. This route is seldom repeated due the mandatory wide crack climbing near the bottom of the route.

Rack: 1 set nuts, 2 ea .5-5”, 1 ea 5.5” or 6”, extra 3-4.5”, Pitch 1 and 2 eat up 4.5” pieces, 2 ropes.

Descent: rappel Shune’s Buttress.
