Avg time to climb route: 1 day
Approach time: 30 minutes Descent time: 1.5 hours Number of pitches: 8 Height of route: 900' route, 1100' total Overview
FA: Dave Jones, Jon Gleason, and Phil Gleason 4/13-14/1994.FFA: Doug Byerly and Brad Quinn, 9/95 (2nd ascent).Bits and Pieces follows the top-to-bottom crack system on the right edge of the wall. Start in a short wide crack just right of a small tower formation. This climb gets mixed reviews, some like it, some don’t. My partner and I found it to be quite enjoyable with excellent climbing all the way up the wall. If you don’t plan hiking to the summit of the peak, the final slab pitch isn’t worth it. Rack: 2 ea .5-4”, 1 ea 4.5”, 6”optional but nice, medium-large nuts, 2 ropes. Descent: rappel the route. Climber Beta on Bits and Pieces
