Avg time to climb route: 4-6 hours
Approach time: 30-45 minutes Descent time: 1.5-2 hours Number of pitches: 10 Height of route: 1000' Overview
The first pitch of Wall of the Worlds by itself may be better than any 5.10 splitter crack in Yosemite. Originally split into 2 pitches, this ultra-classic 1”-1 ¼” crack is typically done as a single long pitch now that 60m ropes are standard. Splitter finger and thin hand cracks, the crux roof undercling, long dihedrals, and some spectacular and spicy face climbing all add up to make Wall of the Worlds one of the best routes of the grade in the country. Developed by free climbers, it also lacks the pin scars that define most routes of the type in Yosemite.
