Years ago one of the "big guns" took golf balls and a club to El Cap Tower. The balls survived but some windshields didn't.

can anyone verify that golf ball tale? I've heard it for years but always a different big gun named? JL, what's your call, Myth or Fact? And while we're at it did Bridwell really kick a Poodle off glacier point?

If I remember corectly (not always the case), the names Burton and Sutton apply to the golf ball story, though the story was just that. Fiction.

JL admitted a few months ago, on another thread, that it was fiction. He said that the golf ball story was inspired by far worse antics, that he could not write about without fear of felony imprisonment
