Caught the Stonemasters show two nights ago, a packed memorable event. After the strobe lights, dry ice smoke and free beer, John Long read hilarious pieces involving free climbing with Bachar and stealing food from Evangelists in Yos. A short film tribute to Yabo set to "Old Man Look at my Life" left a lump in my throat. It was cool how Ron kauk had his own show going next door, but managed to pop in and out anyway.

Yes, the Stonemasters show truly was a hit. The book is also well worth it. It was great to see many legends of the rock climbing world in one gathering and nice to have them take the time to sign the book.
Neebee, it was nice to see Mark there and my girlfriend had a great time talking to Jamie

Hey when is the next slideshow and where? I thought I read somewhere there would be one in LA or SF sometime soon.
I missed it Friday night for some unapparent reason.

Also memorable was the Mark Wellman interview and the kind words and pictures of Tobin Sorenson. Dean provided fine fashion commentary with image after image of 70's clad Stonemaster.

say, i haven't got to meet her yet, being that i am so far away, but i sent her some handmade earrings, recently...
sure am glad to see mark enjoying all his buddies at that GREAT SHOW! AND very glad that jamie was getting to have a good time too!

Just arrived home from 10 days in the Valley of Wow....and it was. Show was fantastic ! Where are all the pictures? I'll get mine out, but I know many of you took pics. Please Post.
StoneMasters Book Fantastic. Dean Fidelman and John Long did an excellent job of presenting the slide show.....including stopping the picture presentation to add much color and personal details to the incredible book and stories.
John's stories were even better because he read them with heart and power.
Book signing super great cause most of the cast of characters showed to sign and smile. Peace, Lynnie

I totally enjoyed the show! Beautiful pictures!.. Drops of salty liquid came out of my eyes a couple of times...

Andy's pics as well as all the others are Grate. It was so cool to see you again and do the wonderful campfire music scene Nita and Andy.
