a recon, seriously, are you mad? one good thing about it, is you hike down to start it, and then when you top out ,It's a hundred yards to your car.
It is obscure,no repeat to date..chicken skinner might be able to make a topo..you'll want one for sure.
some good pitches, some scruffy pitches, and some hard pitches..actually quite hard....I would like to hear of someone on it to see what they think...

Poaching an elephant isn't as hard as making enough hollandaise sauce.

why you need a topo? have an adventure.

or get Ken to take you up, if he feels like it.

I think to poach an elephant you need a REAALLY big pot, hot water wiht proper seasoning (no idea what that would be, and I never could find a pot big enough anyway) and then you just stir.

I'd say add wine but you'd have to own a vineyard to afford that.

But speaking of elephants, I need a litle help thre. Full sized are way to big for our place, and we could not afford to build an elephant proff fence around the property anway. BUT tehre IS the borneo Pygmy elephant, and that is a different story. I want three, anyone know ehre to find em here? thaty get totally mistreated in borneo, real poachers trap tehm in leg loops traps and they break free but thier legs get infected from the lop around it eventually, and they have to be rescued .

I'm offering a good home to three. mating is OK. GOtta have a herd cause elephants really like that. We figure thay make genuine elephant manure and that is the BEST thing to put on teh garden. All I have to do is train em to go in teh proper spot! Elephants ares smart, so that would not be a proble.

Porbably the cats would not approve, but they'll just have to get used to it. when they are not shitting, the elephants would have 6 wodded acrews to roam and have a good time doing whtever they like-- hopefully annoying te chicken man, whose roosters have been a real porblem over the eyares. haha, maybe a litle elephant trumpeting would be good payback.

anyway, need three borneo pygmy elephants, to a good home, will makes sure they havea good spot to winter in-- hell I think they will fit n the laundry room with the cats on a really cold night, and they can choose between going outside or not from their house ( still heated) the rest of the time. we havea lot of warm days here in winter, you they would probably enjoy getting out and trampling a pasky rhodent from time to time.

not looking for a topo, necessarily (I wouldn't turn one away though), but even a bit better start info might be useful. Am I looking at a 5.8 line or a 5.12 one?

Also, thought there could be a good story there, too, not many lines up on that huge hunk of rock, and it has more than it's share of horror...

Ed,

It starts to the right of Crashline and heads toward the curvy seams. Do the Improbable Traverse backwards and then work your way through a little vertical bushwhacking to a nice ledge below the overhanging wall at the top. Climb a crack on the left side of the overhanging wall and then walk five minutes to the car.

How's that for a topo?
