Does anyone know how this event went? I know many of us were distracted with the FaceLift, and couldn't go, but maybe Jeff could fill us in on it.

My wife and I caught one day of the festival. The films were great, although attendance seemed a bit light. The Joe Simpson retelling of the Toni Kurz Eiger epic was the most riveting. My wife, (unfamiliar with that story), couldn't understand why my hands were sweating profusely from the moment we sat down.

Another film depicted three middle-aged South African buddies who stick to moderate climbing now that their most athletic days are behind them. Their affection for getting on the rock really resonated with me, although my version of "moderate" is pretty tame by their standards.
