I have to say though, out of all your great photos, I think my favorite is the 'Oh Snap' with the crappy pink spraypaint. That one cracked me up good.

the fire was in '03, and it wiped out the old-growth ponderosa pine forest that used to blanket the place. the climbing is still the best, but the forest which truly made the place magical is, sadly, gone for our lifetimes.

Seriously tho, that place doesn't look like any fun at all.
Anyone with a geological bent know the story on the rock? Looks like granite x limestone.

Great pics from a great weekend. The Horn is a fabulous place and those two climbs I'm picture in above are definitely two of the best routes I've ever climbed in terms of aesthetics, rock quality and movement. Thanks for taking the shots and sharing.
However, Handsome B, will you please share the love with that nickname of yours and reference all pics of mine with Beautiful R? Just asking.....
