Any competition to BD Alpine aiders? They seem like the lightest/least bulky choice? Only 4.2 oz.

I heard people praise metolious alpine aider for being comfortable and also light. But its 6.8 Oz- significantly more than BD.

Petzl makes a nice little four step aider. I don't know ounces but I reckon 145 grams to be pretty light. Only used it briefly on a rope access course, but the steps did feel a little comfier that those of my bd alpine aiders. But then if you're going fast you're not gonna stand around in your aiders all day.

I have used the Yates speed stirrup for many years, really love the versatility and confidence they inspire. Hans Florine actually came up with the idea, I believe.
