Hi there, anyone have a topo or a description with any beta on Resurrection in Hetch Hetchy? I have heard great things and was curious if it was possible this time of year or if it would be soaked? (Is this route near a waterfall?) Please either reply here or email jessehuey@hotmail.com Thanks so much!

There is a topo of the original aid route (Hetch Hetchy Dome - South Face) on the obscurities page here:
http://www.supertopo.com/topos/yosemite/obscurities.html
The free variation differs from the original aid line.
On the lower half, Resurrection stays in the left facing corner above p4 (marked as "ow" on the topo, but more of a short flaring chimney), instead of traversing right and going up the polished ow. This LFC is part of Zeus.
After 2 pitches, the corner fades out and Resurrection traverses 10' right to a (rap?) bolted arete and face (5.11d). Although later a free line was done which follows the lower part of the South Face pretty closely.
In the upper half, Resurrection deviates from the aid line as follows:
p14 - climbs to the right
p15 - link with p14
p16, p17 - keep going straight up, instead of traversing right on p15
p18 goes up and right
p19 is a bolted face. At the ledge on top, walk left to an anchor to rap the route.
It is not near a waterfall, but the lower couple of pitches can be wet.
And it also tends to get very hot there, much of the year.
It's a hassle to climb there because there is a gate on the road which is locked from 9pm - 7am (hours vary seasonally). From the gate, it's about a 20 minute drive to the dam/trailhead, then 60-90 minute hike to Hetch Hetchy Dome. So that leaves about 10 hours to climb and rappel.
