Any info on this area of Woodson around California Night? The comma looking boulder is down by the fire road.

How about the boulder just above and right of the water tank. Pretty good 25 foot face.

That thin, 25' crack, is it downhill (east), walking down across some slabs from California Night? If this is it, I don't know of a name but remember Tom Lindner showing it to me with Chris Lindner when he was about 4-5, which would make it 88-89 (Chris was born in '84, same as my son), and Chris was able to make it up this in his tennis shoes that his Dad put "Shoo Goo" on the bottoms! I was there when Chris did it! The crack is facing east as well. Could this be it?

Larry is just another guy you run into going up Woodson these days Mike. You see him once in a while with his easel and paint.

The thin crack is in a massive corridor/cave complex and would be very memorable. An amazing area that someone has been to as there are bolts on top of the crack and an arete (lost arrow piton with two bolts drilled thru).

Just when I can't possibly get any more hectic... CRASH! Working hard to get the HD back up to speed. Once that happens the shirt artwork will be posted.

I love computers... until they stop working then I hate life!

It has been so long Johnny but I'm sure it's the same area for we descended into a corridor with the thin crack being on the left wall as you walked down into it.

Interesting bit on Mt. Woodson's history:

"According to Jerry Schad, the local Indians called this the Mountain of Moonlit Rocks, and later pioneers called it Cobbleback Peak. It was mapped as Woodson Mountain in honor of a prominent homesteader who moved here in 1895, confederate dentist Dr. Marshall Clay Woodson, and now it's best known as Mount Woodson."
