The beloved childrens' program, one of the great cultural icons of the US, turns 40 on November 10th. Woot!

The guest will be Michelle Obama, who will talk about gardens and fresh food, and (naturally) one of the fun things that will be done is that everyone will count to 40.

What if they made a movie of the history of Squamish climbing and used the Muppets as analogs for key historical figures - could the Muppets flash Freeway or free the Black Dyke? But as TKs unoffical agent I think we would expect some royalties as some of these dudes look remotely or remissly familiar to her pantheon of big performers in Climbing Tales of Terror and other related exposes! Appears to be a dwarf sheep in the lower left corner of the first pic.
