March madness marches on.
Lenna just called. She and Ed are driving up to Sonora after their visit with old friends at a memorial for another old friend, Susan, RIP.
Sis was telling me of the grand display of weather as they rode thru the foothills.
I was just going to post these shots from about three this aft.
Kite-flying is what I woke from my nap thinking about willow sticks and rubber bands and plastic bags and a ripped up tee shirt.
Lenna said she'd heard a cyclone warning somewhere locally, too.

Going to Fresno VA this morning was an adventure.
On arrival at the check-in, I told the attendant and he insisted (I knew he would) on my going to the ER.
Long story shortened for sake of brevity and to alleviate terminal boredom,
I'm going to re-schedule the consult for surgery. I'm okay and mobile but have to lose some water weight. They IV'd two doses of Lasix to deflate me.
So I had to "go with the flow" and get x-rayed and give blood for tests, & they ran an ekg. I was more concerned with getting a ride back home, actually. But the driver of the van waited and all's well that ends well and I had a good ride home.
On the way to Fresno.Funky rainbow.
