Couch... Facts suck.
Healyje, seriously> then what room are you willing to totally dedicate to a "Prayer" room.
And, when they get settled in and comfortable, are you willing to allow the men to bring home little boys once or twice a week, dress them all up as little girls, then rape the living shet outta of em?
Remember, these folks aint from Milwaukee. They are coming straight here from their homeland of Syria where their way of life is one you and many here have no clue about.

You are now no longer worth responding to in any regard.

Our endless involvement leaves no out.
Post where we the US have been "endlessly involved" in the Civil War in Syria, Social Climber.
Heal, you should not try to reason with a disturbed individual.
Reason....Disturbed?
You all are in for a major rude awakening as to the daily regular traditional routine customs of these people.
They aint coming from Omaha...

We are losing in Syria??? When did we actually get involved, personal and equipment on the ground, in the Syrian Civil War, Social Climber. The Civil War between the Sunni and Shia there, from which these refugees are running from.

No Charles. I am not buying the rhetoric that many here wish to ingest as the truth.
We have had NO fight in this civil war. None. Never have nor have we any involvement other than maybe something that the current administration that includes the leading dem nominee that you will most assuredly vote for, may have started. Something of which you and many others here have turned a blind eye to and insist on pointing the finger to someone that had nothing to do with the current civil war in Syria.
We have targeted ISIS. Not one of the Syrian Military.

Middle east foreign policy since I have been alive created this whole situation..... You think it's limited to Syria?
As of three minutes ago the headlines still state that these refugees are all coming from Syria and have fled due to Assad's Military brutality and the rest of the things that go with a Sunni-Shia civil war. All of which have been occurring in Southwest Asia since 620AD and far back longer than that if you dig deeper. Long before any US foreign policy implementations.
That is the Big Picture here that you and so many of the others DO NOT want to accept and keep turning your eyes away from.
And for some ungodly reason, so many here also have this perception that when these folks get here, that they are going to dump the their traditional values and immediately start to eat organic veggies, have a morning latte all while posting up on ST on their I-Phone.
EDIT:
Here Charles. Here's the real story.

"America has seldom sunk lower than it did this week when a bunch of ISIS-supporting cowards in congress disgraced the
honor of their offices and the institution they serve."
That is outrageous that US Congressmen would support ISIS.
What next, a president who bows to tyrants?

It also occurs to me that there is irony in fly-fisherman trolling...
Even The Chief will have to admit that that is really funny (but he's so stubborn that he won't).

Got it.... bad to the bone badazz Cool!
Ok, where were we Charles..... Oh yeah,
At this point I am not even sure what I'm arguing about.
You're trying to persuade me that all this shet is our fault. All of it. The fact that these people have been at this slaughtering of one another over who is a closer descendant of Mohamed than the other for over 1600 or more years, has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Yep ... all of it.

Culture clash.
In arab countries, if they complain, AFTER the women are raped they are charged, convicted and sentenced to jail time for complaining about the rape. Even in modern ones like Dubai (occasionally a guy will also get convicted along with the complaining woman, ,but there needs to be 4 witness's to it) I'd prefer to not bring that culture change to our country.
The rape stats in Sweden are going off the charts due to the new "guests" they have. So perhaps we can also make a few changes to our world for our new guests. Like, women either stay home, travel in groups, or cover up. I'm sure they won't mind, it's better than being raped. It's interesting that in the 1950s Simone DeBovoir was sunning herself on the beach when an Arab wandered by. He raped her, no big deal to him, then moved on. Turned out, it was kind of a cultural thing. Still common well over 60 years later.
Next week: we no longer need to support the constitution. At least the 1st amendment, I see that starting already. Want to do some research, google "Draw Muhammad" and see what has occurred even with the limited "guests" we currently have.

Couch^^^^ these people here apparently could give a flying ratsass about any of them reality facts. Cus they believe that none of it will happen when all these Syrians lay their feet in America. None of it.
Well Werner, appears my duality has been pretty good to me lately.
This is the fourth way cool badazz Bronson Special Ed hand made in the USA fly reel I have won on Ebay for a steal in less than a week.
Here's the first one Werner... Cool or what?

Bingo. Whether we had ever been involved or not, this cauldren of hatred would still be boiling.
Certainly Europe and the US has picked some scabs over the past 100 years or more that were not helpful.
The Middle East is the crossroads of most of human migration over the past 10,000+ years.
The mix of races, cultures, tribes, and religions has been very rich in the Middle East.
It is the cradle of human civilization, religion and science.
It is the cradle of many other things.

Unfortunately Larry, too many here are either not willing to accept that or, they are too ignorant to even contemplate that reality and believe that it will all change when these refugees step off that plane and smell that BK Whopper sizzling smoke coming from the other side of the fence of the tarmac.

I disagree with Werner, though he is talking about world energy.
As for you, nope, not one person is trying to say its "all" our fault. Other then Werner just now. You have a serious issue with black and white thinking. Everything anyone says to you that doesn't line up 100 % with what you believe is translated in your mind though a black and white filter. So when someone says.. we have some blame, you hear "we are completely to blame". Thats what happened on the thread about the Japanese detention camps. You equated anyone that said it was wrong as meaning we were thus as bad as the worst of the worst. Which was why I tried to show you that its a continuum.
Edit: of course this has been going on for centuries. No one is denying that. What people are trying to point out is that our meddling in the middle east has at times made it worse. In those cases, then we have some part in encouraging the craziness in that region.
