The tea baggers and other conservative dupes suddenly became concerned about over spending and fiscal responsibility when Obama became president...It was the only mud they could find to sling at Obama who inherited a recession created by Bush's failed economic policies...
Where were the tea baggers when Bush was spending us into a hole...? No where to be heard! Right? ..The tea baggers , with Obama as president , of course , don't want to solve this financial crisis so they stomp their feet and whine and continue to insist that Bush's voo doo econimcs are the only way to solve the crisis..The economy was working just fine before the Bush tax cuts and fine until the corrupt dealings of the Republican party caved in on the American economy...History doesn't lie and with what the tea baggers want , more Bushenomics , we will be a repeat of the same lies..

The U.S. government posted its third consecutive annual budget deficit in excess of $1 trillion in the fiscal year ended Sept. 30.

The shortfall registered $1.3 trillion in fiscal 2011, up from $1.29 trillion in 2010 and the second-highest on record, according to Treasury Department data issued today in Washington. It reached $1.42 trillion in 2009, the highest ever. The September gap widened to $64.6 billion from $34.6 billion in the same month last year.

“There is a lot of red ink on the government’s balance sheet and Congress appears clueless on how to make it disappear,” Chris Rupkey, chief financial economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd. in New York, said before today’s report.

When you Liberals still support Obama and AG Holder for giving machine guns and hand grenades to the cartels across the boarder just so you all can be assured of a ready supply of illegal drugs up here for addicts to buy is called what?

Enlightened self interest perhaps?

Again, facts are irrelevant and highly overrated precursors to forming opinions.

Its always better to disregard any pesky facts that refute what one desperately wants to believe is true.

Dr F - your economic tunnel vision is acting up again: its the private economy not the government economy that needs help.

Reducing taxes and some of the idiotic reporting regulations the govt demands from businesses will boost the private economy. And as usual the govt will collect more in tax revenues because of that growth in private
economic activity.

So every time you do something on Facebook be advised you are polluting
the environment.

Facebooks brand spanking new data center up in Oregon was built next to a
coal fired power plant because it offered the cheapest electric rates to
run all the servers.

Facebook guys are capitalists at heart after all. Hah!
