BTW Larry, I see you agree that KILLING BALD AND GOLDEN EAGLES is perfectly acceptable in the name of saving mankind from the Big Oil machine.
So, is this where I pull out pictures of the Gulf of Mexico after the Deep Horizon catastrophe, and show the death that oil brings? Indeed, I could easily say:
The Chief thinks that it's perfectly acceptable for Big Oil to create a massive dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico.

link: Solar Would Be Cheaper: US Pentagon Has Spent $8 Trillion to Guard Gulf Oil
It's posts like these that let me honestly say that The Chief is a self-absorbed fool.
Sure, he'll get all hot-headed and be like the little boy flipping me the finger. But that won't change the fact that The Chief is the poster-boy for a large group of morons.

You of course do agree that from DEC of 12 to Dec of 13, both poles were BELOW NORMAL, do you not.
Hey Blow Hard, does this mean anything to you:
Weather >< Climate

You've never proven those are forecasts Chief.
Where's the current 30-day mean forecast and anomaly, Chief?

Yes The Chief, I am on board with trying to halt the massive killing-off of multiple species that the Big Oil industry brings us.
And I see you're on board with the continued killing. And if predictions are correct, there's lots more to come from Big Oil.
BTW The Chief, when you look in the mirror, to get an urge to wipe your ass?

From DEC 2012 to DEC 2013, BOTH POLES experienced BELOW to FAR BELOW NORMAL TEMPS>>>>
Dumbass, the top pic is not an anomaly.
The bottom pic is the anomaly and it shows above average.
Sketch, The Chief needs your help, badly.

What an idiot. The top pic is not an anomaly, it's the actual temps.
The next pic in that frame is the anomaly, and it shows the arctic and antarctic is above normal.

Why is the arctic yellow/green in the anomaly, Chief?
Also, the antarctic is red, way above normal.
Look on the temp scale on the left, before blurting out your answer.

LOL, The Chief surrenders and goes back to 30-day conditions, which still shows the arctic above normal.
The 30 Day Anomaly indicates things are changing drastically from warmer to colder for both poles.
No, it does not.

Odd, what's all that white in the Antarctic mean, Chief?
You were the one who made the claim about Both Poles being dramatically colder.
It's 30-day mean Chief. Weather is not climate.

But BLUE out weighs the WHITE in Antarctica. Let's not forget that NOV-JAN are the warmest months there.
It's anomaly, Chief, not actual temps.
Dang you are stupid.

That must completely reverse the 365 day average in Chiefland.

Yes, if it happened millions and billions of years ago, then it means it's ok for man to mess mess with the climate.

WHAT HAS BEEN ACHIEVED IN THE LAST 20,000+ POSTS?
This thread is 4 years old. 20,000 posts.
What's the result?
All the usual suspects have surpassed their/our quotas for cheap shots / gratuitous insults.
Has anyone softened their position all? Has anyone learned anything that might cause them to reconsider their views?
Or has this been little more than a giant internet jackoff time suck?
I've learned a lot from Chiloe's posts. Ed Hartouni posts high quality information (if kinda hard to digest sometimes). I look forward to posts from Base104, too; he has a great perspective and is a always a source of new and interesting stuff.
This thread can be whatever we want to make of it.

Yes 20,000 posts, but i would beg to differ that nothing has changed. First it is true that Ed, when he doesn't embarrass himself by exposing his pronounced ideological bias, keeps up the appearance ( as viewed by occasional visitors unfamiliar with the nuances of this argument) of presenting good science in a fair manner, second old Base still pops in at random moments with the same old tired lectures about ancient geological epochs and the impossible interpretation of what came first with the chicken and egg relationship of CO2 and temps, third Larry, the most biased of all since his job as a manmade snow making machine salesman depends on it, unabashedly pushes the doom and gloom scenarios. But, despite this trios best efforts to subtly manipulate uninformed minds with their misinterpretations of data, trends, and the maladjusted models they are facing increased scrutiny and examination of their sympathies to the agenda driving this CAGW scam by an increasing share of skeptical posters and increased share of the audience that are skeptical. In short, reality is getting in the way of them hyping the visions of doom and gloom they so love and admire. It aint warming guys and gals, the cat is out of the bag. Oh, and i forgot old Dick Freud ( aka Bruce Kay) and his ever droning and increasingly shrill psycho analysis- what a bunch of hooey.

The IPCC is a panel composed from members of the UN.. In short , many poorer countries that now enjoy fundings for the continued scam that is AGW.
And I am sure that Ron has an attribution for this claim, right Ron? How about sharing it? What funding do many poorer countries enjoy because of the AWG "scam"?
Indeed, you will get me to consider my position on AWG if you can show me this data.

Sketch writes:
"I was trying to help you out. It's obvious you just don't grasp the concept of anomalies."
I would be interested in what Sketch's "concept of anomalies" is...
I too am interested, especially considering Sketch's self-admitted lack of knowledge of statistics.

NUFF SAID..
No Ron, no.
Not enough said. I asked for data to back up your absurd claim. Surely you have a source for this claim.
Or did you just make it up??

Some more real news:
An alliance of corporations and conservative activists is mobilizing to penalize homeowners who install their own solar panels — casting them as “free riders” — in a sweeping new offensive against renewable energy.
Over the coming year, the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) will promote legislation with goals ranging from penalizing individual homeowners and weakening state clean energy regulations, to blocking the Environmental Protection Agency, which is Barack Obama’s main channel for climate action.
Details of ALEC’s strategy to block clean energy development at every stage — from the individual rooftop to the White House — are revealed as the group gathers for its policy summit in Washington this week.
