Romney got 78% of the Mormon vote. Obama, a Muslim, got 21%. Go figger.
On the other hand (I do not think this was H. Clinton, can somebody fact-check it?)
So intense was the American rejection of Mormonism that the U.S. secretary of state once recommended that President Rutherford B. Hayes act to limit Mormon immigration into the country, a moment Utah Governor Gary Herbert saw as eerily reminiscent of Trump’s call to ban all Muslims from entering the United States last December.
Trump, for instance, drew 11 percent support in the Beehive State in one recent poll—a distant third behind Senator Ted Cruz (53 percent) and Ohio Governor John Kasich (29 percent). And as BuzzFeed’s McKay Coppins points out, Trump has noticeably struggled to accrue Mormon votes throughout the 2016 election season, losing heavily Mormon counties during the primaries in Idaho and Wyoming—states where he placed second and third overall, respectively. In Oneida County in southeastern Idaho, where roughly 3 out of 4 voters are Mormon, Trump won just 17.8 percent of the vote, whereas Cruz walked away with 59.9 percent.

And what of George Will?
Conservative commentator and columnist George Will says he is leaving the Republican Party because of Donald Trump -- and he's advocating that others do the same.
In a speech at a Federalist Society luncheon Friday, he told the audience, "This is not my party," according to PJ Media, a conservative news website.

"He [Trump]seems to confuse the enthusiasm of the crowds in front of him at the moment in the high school auditorium with the larger electorate," he said. "Whereas, in fact, crowds are definitionally not a representative selection of the American people."

Mormons hate Trump for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that Trump has repeatedly denigrated, ridiculed and insulted their boy Mitt Romney. Trump has all but called Romney a "loser" because he doesn't have "ten billion bucks in his back pocket".
Mormons tend to be educated people.
They're not mouth-breathing rural billy-bob drop-outs who think Trump is a really cool guy because he has a hot wife and a really bitchen ride.

Trump's son piggy-backed a bogus pay-for-elite-social-status social registry service onto his father's bogus Trump University real estate school.

For a fee of thousands of dollars, Cambridge Who's Who listed naive customers in its faux-exclusive "high-society" register. In other words, people were told they could join up with New York City's richest and swankiest people, the Who's Who of NYC, for the cost of an overpriced admission ticket.
Without the Trump name and participation, Cambridge Who's Who had no legitimacy. The social registry scheme had been concocted by Randy Narod, a Long Island bagel vendor who had been barred from the securities industry for life because he had paid an impostor to take his licensing exam. Before Trump came along, Narod's registry was nothing more than an abridged version of a local telephone directory.
But, when Narod hitched his social registry con game to Trump, and to Trump's vast experience as a con man, the sordid enterprise took flight.
Donald Junior became the company spokesman and “executive director of global branding” for Cambridge, which then deluded customers with promises of “leveraging relationships built by the Trump empire.”
The situation was not unlike that of neophyte conman Johnny Hooker teaming up with Henry Gondorff, the Grand Old Man of The Big Con, in The Sting.
The two men combined their complementary resources and skills to contrive and execute the Con of All Cons.
Trump is a Cheeto-faced onion.
When another Trump layer is peeled back to see what is below, the viewer experiences a painful sensation.

Trump's lunatic antics and demonic tactics in building The World's Greatest Golf Course in Scotland were truly shocking.
The man shown in the movie (Trump, just doing what Trump does) is a guy you wouldn't trust to be a Central Park garbageman, let alone the Mayor, and certainly not the President of the United States.

Trump not only bulldozed and destroyed the pristine habitat of at least a half dozen endangered species, he also harassed, abused and terrorized the local people in the process.
Trump's act of capitalistic chutzpah can be roughly compared to the United States Congress allowing him to transmogrify a huge chunk of Yellowstone National Park into a gigantic indoor/outdoor "Trump Indian Casino", complete with a Shoot a Buffalo for Ten Thousand Bucks carnival attraction, and a new, more frequent schedule for Old Faithful, created by jolting the natural steam geyser into unnatural action every few moments by pumping a toxic stew of hydrazine-based tetroxide explosives into Old Faithful's tortured orifice.

yeah i'm totally onboard with ya! And it's mainly what i loved about Obama. Other than he always asked for EVERYones opinion( it's just sad the repub's are so tight lipped) He mostly kept god in his pocket, cept where it really matters. In front of his children and at the end of all his important speeches.
i think i'm with ya on the street cred area.. her street cred should only be held up to her political obligations, and nothing religional! But you gotta admit her obligations went up a notch when she mentioned she's a methodist

Methodist ministers have administered gay marriages out of rebellion in the Methodist Church and nothing has happened. They remain.
So what do you think should have happened to them? Crucified? Or just quickly beheaded?
Obviously, anyone who has anything to do with gayness must be put to death, but most of us here aren't in day-to-day touch with G-d the way you are Klimmer, so we would really appreciate your input on this.
What's your take on G-d's will in this matter? How does G-d want you and his other big-time buddies to kill gays?
Oh, and one other thing... If I'm not gay myself, but don't actually mind that other people are, do I have to be put to death too?
