Hey NeeBee,
I was the lucky person with the winning bid for your books! It was kind of you to donate them for the event and I look forward to reading them.

As Ferretlegger and I slaved on boat projects yesterday....I soooooooo much wanted to rewind the clock to last week.
It was a wonderful event and Todd and family are so gracious....
Aww wistfully thinking about last week as we gear up for another day of boat slaving.

Enjoy the read Sonya, Russ got a little jealous when he saw there were hardbound. We have a copy of Jake but it's a paperback. Thanks Again Neebee for your many thoughtful donations.
A few other notes - The book-sale continues on the Taco until we can get it up onto the Blog. Big thanks to Abend for the generous sale and BrianSLC who took mercy and bought a stack of guides for his collection (many I'm sure he already owns).
See updated list for some nice available guides. Some new, some old but all a great value.
Taking reasonable offers - to ship USPS media mail. We're moving in a month...........please don't make me take this box too. Let's clear out the last of the GordonFest swag and get Todd some cash to supply the boys water balloons all summer long!

Thanks John, email with instructions sent. This is a nice guide donated by our friend and author Marty Lewis. Top quality guide to leaf through and reference for your east side experience!
We're moving to our house in Joshua Tree........that we've been remodeling for the past 2 years. Ready or KNOTT the time has come.
Thanks - that's one more out of the box!

Great job to everyone that contributed to this most worthy cause. Finally got to check out the pics, appreciate the humor and see so many familiar faces. Couldn't make this gathering, but I look forward to finally getting to chew the fat with Dr. F someday. That Middle C comment on the Integraton thread was really funny, Randy.

hey there say, sofcookay.... (sonya) thanks for letting me know ... fun to know that they have a nice home, :)
if you enjoy them enough, too, there is FIVE vols of short stories
all based on the same characters... and as they grow through the years
(all these 'fill in' the years between the jake hugs texas, and the jake's ranch and the second gate (older age years)...
short story fun stuff, coveringa many things that we all face in life, in some ways...
EVEN the ol' kitchen sink, ;)) (in one story) and the bathtub, in another, :))
hey there say, todd....
sure love the septic tank work there...
when i was married and lived in south texas, sadly, or septic tank
was much to be desired (and not envy of others) it was 'much to be desired' to be FIXED, ;)
oh sooze and russ!!! so very happy for you to get a new move...
(i moved from a tiny tiny spot [finaly packed to full, due to stuff added in for grandkids to use, etc] to an older but SOOOO much larger house, and: cooler, too, as to summer (though we do not, sadly, get much summer here, :( ... and, it has a neat basement, and yard)..
have fun with and after the move... best part, is:
you get to decorate all the rooms again, that you live in, :)
thanks to all the photographes here, i so much!!! wanted to see all the pics!!!
someday, i will meet some of you all, too..
wanted THAT too...
:)
ooops, forgot:
edit:
thanks so much luckypink for letting me know...
:)
oh, forgot:
sooze, it is sooo special, seeing the hardcover books, too,
:)) (was glad they gave us that option, too)

Neebee,
I was thinking of a moat too, along with a drawbridge to keep out the fish fans that would surely try to take the castle if they couldn't get their leopard chalk bag, zebra luggage and well you know....all the rest of the russ goodies. :D
