Taxes are at an all time low. Why aren't the supposed job creators - business flush with cash - creating jobs?

P.S. The Republicans claim to be the party of fiscal responsibility, yet cut taxes and launched the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, I'm curious, fattrad, why you haven't been more critical of this clusterf*#k in policy?

Dr. F

Undo Every Bush Policy!!!

3 years in and what Bush policies has Obama substantively "undone"?

Obama has been better at advancing the Bush agenda than Bush was.

Reeotch,

None, and on your second point you are absolutely right.

For reasons far beyond my level of understanding the right leaning folks in here fail to see and/or won't admit that Obama is governing from a center right position and with the exception of having a softer-around-the-edges discourse is GWBush II all but in name.

Obama IS governing like a Republican.

WHY?

Because he promoting "Class Warfare" by favoring the wealthy with his tax cuts.

Because he accepts money from Wall Street.

Because he has no regard, sob, for Due Process and KILLS US citizens.

Because he killed Osama Bin Laden WITHOUT A FAIR TRIAL, sob.

Because he allows Michelle to have a vegetable garden behind the White House.

We must just as well elected Bush all over again.

The "Professional Left" just HATES HIM, and no "libs" will ever vote for him again.

Because he just signed a contract to be on Fox News Nightly.

And I heard from a reliable source that Obama hates white people!

Yeah, I really do feel betrayed. I had an Obama sign in my front yard for crissake!

Now, I'm thinking about registering repug, just so I can vote for Ron Paul. He's the only one talking about ending the insane war on terror and making some real changes to the economy. Like auditing the Fed . . .

Where the "center" is becomes a function of where you start out.

The "center" has been steadily migrating to the right for decades.

Why won't anyone answer this question

What Policies of Obama's were bad for the economy?

Why?
Because there were none, its just an idiotic talking point

What about the Bush policies?

My question to you is, what Bush policies has Obama discontinued?

The Bush Tax cuts were rated by the CBO as a disaster, and would cause huge deficits
But what did the Republicans do, they disregarded the CBO analysis

and look were we are now, exactly as predicted

The Bush Tax Cuts were bad for the economy, yet no Republican will admit it

Do you want to tell us how any tax cut is "bad for the economy"?

Money that goes to government has to come from the private sector, so lets look at those two sides of the coin:

Tax cuts are definitely not bad for the private sector, right? I think anyone can grasp that.

For the public sector, tax cuts can only be bad if they lead to a decrease in revenue. Even the Bush tax cuts did not do this (although in an argument only a liberal could love, tax revenues might have increased more without the tax cuts, and that is usually what is projected in the graphs you see for the deficit).

This is a dumb argument. The burden of government is not simply taxes, it is also borrowing. Government SPENDING (taxes + borrowing) is definitely NOT at an all time low, in fact it is close to a post WW2 high. Businesses are not "flush with cash" either, except for a few large corporations. Small businesses are either in debt, or can't borrow because the can't get around Uncle Sam's fat ass at the lending window.

I heard on the radio that When Regan and Tip O'Niel cut a deal back in the 80s to cut taxes, AND to close some of the tax loopholes, that tax revenues actually increased!

Again we choose to deny them pesky facts:

FACT:

The main drives of US debt are tax cuts and wars, both courtesy of Republicans:
