"If you believe that even non-American terrorists should be treated like American criminals, with all of the Fifth Amendment rights we grant to our own accused, how can you sanction killing an American without so much as a hearing?
The Fifth Amendment says that no person shall be “deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.” A Predator drone strike seems to deprive a person of all three."
here's the rest...read it if you dare, libs:

More class warfare - how has THAT been working out for you. Maybe if people worried less about how much money the rich have and instead tried to figure out what they are doing to make themselves rich, there might be some more productive activity.
Class warfare, how's that been working out for you, Lois? But how about speaking to the point? All you capitalist apologist keep ignoring the fact that for 8 years we had fewer regulations and tax cuts for the rich. Remind me again, how did that work out. Of course, you won't answer that will you?
And we know what the rich are doing to make themselves rich, they take it from us, like the blood sucking leeches they are.
“There’s class warfare, all right,” Mr. Buffett said, “but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.”

Here is the point I am making. Perhaps if the people doing the most screaming worried less about what someone else has and worried more about building their own wealth and prosperity, they might be considerably better off.
Exactly, Lois! That's why I'm a socialist. The capitalists need to keep their hands out of our pockets, and start pulling their own weight. I'm glad we are in agreement about this.
They might not be as rich monetarily, but as you say they'd be considerably better off morally.

I see your model, shut down the banks. Well, only those able to buy for cash (the rich, rich relatives) will be able to buy homes, cars, furniture and other big ticket items. Or maybe you think the government should give these things away????????
Are you on drugs?

So then, Gary, give me an example of how and where you - as in Gary - have been exploited. This discussion is all theoretical right now. I want to get a better handle on what you are referencing. Please provide some evidence i.e. examples of how you personally have been exploited.
I work for a living.
Lois, how do capitalists accumulate their capital? Where does it come from?
Here is what one Republican president had to say:
Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

No one has ever said that or implied that but you.

No.. Gary did not imply any such thing. That is how you heard it through the bias of your mind.

John already answered it. Now, won't you answer my question? Or perhaps comment on Abraham Lincoln's comment on labor and capital?

I am just giving Gary a heads up as to how you think. I'm sure he knows that, but just reminding him.
You hear everything through an incredibly biased mind.
Your list highlights it perfectly.
And once you get going.. well, it doesn't matter what anyone says. And then, just to twist it up some more, Jeff will chime in trying to keep you going.

You said, Gary, that you "work for a living" I answered that I also worked for a living and somehow that did not seem to stand in my way. I am also not convinced that the capitalist is not "working" Somehow, I suspect the factory does not run itself. He just might be putting some effort into it.
Lois, EVERYONE is entitled to the full fruit of his labor.
That's why I'm a socialist.
"We propose to destroy the capitalist and save the man. We want a system in which the worker shall get what he produces and the capitalist shall produce what he gets."

Many people here fail to account for the fact that this forum is not exactly representative of the country as a whole.
The country as a whole is stupid.
The only people with a brain are on this forum .....

Just in case you haven't been in a modern factory, but it takes a lot more risk of capital and a lot less labor to produce goods than it did in 1863.
I don't see much "risk" of capital in this nation.
But that capital comes from somewhere, and apparently Lois thinks it falls out of the sky.

It does fall out of the sky if you are the federal reserve.
