What exactly is the Republican plan for job creation?

Liberalism is definitely synonymous with being an amnesiac.

Cutting taxes and burdensome regulations has always allowed jobs to grow.
That's our plan.

We tell Liberals this but they forget it within 10 seconds and later squawk
"Whats the Rights plan?"

FortMental's response is irrelevant, incompetent, and immaterial as we've
grown to expect.

But hey its lunch time and he could be in a rush to get to McDonalds.

What is the Republicans plan to create jobs?

They have had the House for 10 months now, what is the plan?

Lots of time to think about it.

What is the plan? Right now people need jobs.

The sooner they have jobs the sooner they get off unemployment and food stamps and start paying taxes.

WHAT IS THE PLAN?

The whole notion that we need Government to provide jobs is part of our problem. Diverting capital to Government to produce jobs produces decay. Government can create jobs, but growth is the tricky part. Only ingenuity, hard work, trial and error, and yes- greed, can produce that. Without growh the jobs eventually disappear.

Fort Mental, isn't it time for Wapner?

FAIL

NOPE

The Repubs cut taxes and could deregulate all they wanted from 2000-2006.

Did not "work".

They handed Obama an economy that was in recession and LOSING 700,000 a MONTH.

Sorry, not even a good try.

Let's see, "government" can't create jobs, so government should accept that and not try.

Then, when unemployment stays high, blame government for not doing enough.

Obama administration policies is making unemployment steadily and decidedly worse. His "solutions" are more like pouring gasoline on the fire. They are not working.

Factual analysis doesn't seem to be the strong suit with this one. Lord help the people that see you for medical attention, break out the leeches!

Thank god those "cut spending" Republicans hold the house:

"House Republicans have agreed to a new contract to pay a private law firm up to $1.5 million to defend the Defense of Marriage Act, which bans same-sex marriage on the federal level. "

The last time our government created jobs, the US managed to drag itself out of a depression, eliminate dustbowl conditions nationwide, rebuild critical infrastructure, and, let's see.... oh yeah....win a planetary war.

Government spending and taxing did not get us out of the Depression, they made it longer than it should have been. Remember, it went on for over 10 years. We didn't get out of it until we paid down and wrote off debt levels, which at the time were the highest in history (until now).

Even if you believe Government pulled us out of the Depression somehow, in 1929 Government was arguably an asset. We were the biggest creditor nation in the World and Government represented only 3% of our GDP. Now we are the biggest debtor nation and our Government is sucking at our teets, and every other Country's. Government is not going to help us this time.

Oh yeah, and WW2. So does why are the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (not to mention Libya) helping to pull us out of the recession? Why did it help then and not now? Do we need to start some more wars?

Good point!

If WWII got us out of a depression, how did the WOT put us in one when WWII consumed 42 percent of GDP at its peak and the WOT 6%.

Maybe Fatrad is correct we should have spent more and taken Syria, Pakistan, Saudi and Iran.

Then we would have possibly spent enough that we wouldn't be in our present doldrums.

It wasn't government spending or WWII that ended the depression it was the reduction in tax rates and the increase in productivity post war that finally did it.

Back to the broken window fallacy.

Also consider that BHO's proposed minimum defense level spending (2015 budget) is only 1.4% lower than GWB's maximum.

Meanwhile....
That rank smell that's offending you right now is the wretched stank of
desperation and fear - that of a cornered animal, doomed to be eaten
alive, too scared to even move lest it wind up in between the jaws of its
predatory foe. Leaving it with the ability to do nothing except bare its
teeth and growl, in a futile attempt to postpone the inevitable.

Obama and his cronies are so done. The phrase 'barking mad' seems apt.

Attorney General Eric Holder caught in lie to Congress.

CBS News Reporter Says White House Screamed, Swore at Her Over Fast and Furious questions during phone interviews.

Ingraham: So they were literally screaming at you?
Attkisson: Yes. Well the DOJ woman was just yelling at me. The guy from the White House on Friday night literally screamed at me and cussed at me. [Laura: Who was the person? Who was the person at Justice screaming?] Eric Schultz. Oh, the person screaming was [DOJ spokeswoman] Tracy Schmaler, she was yelling not screaming. And the person who screamed at me was Eric Schultz at the White House."

I just had dinner at a friend's sushi joint. He is originally from Korea. He found out he has to have some tumors removed from his stomach. He is a really great person, and has not had a day off for 4 years. It is going to cost him $32,000 dollars in the US, because he can't afford to have health insurance and still keep his business going.

He is selling his business so he can go back to Korea to have surgery. It will cost him $15 dollars to join the coalition, and $350 dollars for the surgery.

And we wonder why things are going down hill here. Let's bail out the uber- rich and let health care spiral out of control. We are rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic....
