I'd like to make another suggestion based on the now filthy degree of time consumed loading up this thread each time. We could all go back and remove the pictures and just describe them instead. You could even make your picture better than it really was. I could say somethin' like, "Here's a close-up of my eye, but had I moved the camera back a bit, you'd have seen my tanned and toned washboard stomach....and of course my other dreamy eye."

I can only see the thread taking a long time to load if you are having it display the whole thread on a single page.... The fix for dial-uppers, to stop their bitching, was the "20 posts per page" implementation.

LuckyPink--What an awesome family photo! You've obviously done an amazing job--congratulations!

Edit: Jaybro, I was going to say the same thing about them looking like brothers, but it sounds so much better coming from a good looking guy...right LP?

That shot of Melissa with the parasol and the stacks and stacks of head gear is great. But, the 'bolting respite' shot is classic. Did you just go limp and fall over? Drilling is so boring!!!

And special ovation for all the beautiful women with grownup kids that have posted on WTHAYP-STP Lake Wobegon thread.

Handsome B - those are great pics! As a fellow poseur, I can really appreciate them.
I remember looking up at Choad Warrior and thinking what an awesome line it was.
I believe it's a 12c, is it knott?
So were you sending or pretending?

Speaking of "posing down", here's me at Jane's Wall:

Stacks and stacks of headgear...I guess I did. You've got to be prepared for everything up there! One of these days I'll find the picture of me in a similar pose, from the same climb, holding up my blown out undies. Even more fetching. Thanks for the flattery. :-)

I was actually having fun w/ the drill there. It was a breif lovely window in the middle of a bunch of otherwise wet weather (and a light rain on day two), so it wasn't so great for climbing, but it was really great to be outside at one of the prettiest places in Yosemite. And I did get a go on one of the routes on the mini-traxion after it had dried out and before the rain started up again on the second day...And I got to hand out with some great folks. Beats watching TV in the city.

LuckyPink...You're such a stud-mamma. I love it!

Hardman,
The Choad Warrior, despite its name, is quite a terrible route. The roof is sandy choss.

It sure does look nice in photos don't it?
