If I have correctly translated your words, you are saying that maybe this near the end of the month, Mouse may have communication problems due to more days than dollars during this time.
I think that is what you meant, but I could be mistaken.
So, if that is in fact the case, I might not be able to reach him by telephone either.

Thank you Gnome, and for the happy enchilada song as well. That was funny and fun to watch.
We are having a blizzard here in Montana right now, snow falling slaunch-wise as the gusty winds carry it over the Divide and across the valley and back up to my house. Yes, I like this and next month too, because they bring the promise of Spring.

hey there say, feralfae... oh my, are you back in montana...
did you GET the last card i sent???
it WAS a few weeks, back???
wow, BLIZZARD...
we had a 1-3 inches, fast 'blow through' and it was gone the next
day... cold, oh my, but snow gone...
might?? get some wed, not sure...
most of march will have lows, they said of:
22-28 ... regular, in the 35+ i think, if no changes...
i sure miss the sun, but, i do love the trees here...
though, sadly, each spring, it seems there are not as many neat birds, :(

Climbing along he stopped to work at a stuck nut and said,

I am still getting over (stiff and sore) helping the crew by climbing and removing that most dangerous and splitting tree last week. My memory could improve by reminding myself it's not required of me to climb trees for my company any more. Have good employees for that so, what the hell am I doing it for? My appointment is Thursday to finally see a podiatrist for plantar fasciitis in the right foot going on a year, 3 cortisone shots later and still no recuperation.
Off to work now but will try write & post some short poems here later to help fill the void...

Bushman, two of Doug's favorite descriptors were:
"half a bubble off" which meant not thinking straight, and;
and "that's slaunch-wise" which meant that something was out of plumb, or going sideways, or leaning off center.
Bushman, I was wondering why you were out there climbing those interesting tree climbs when I knew you had a crew. I thought you were just having some fun.
Yes, neebs, have been back in Montana from AK since October, came home with this broken tibia, which was mis-diagnosed and then finally set. I am seeing the orthopedic doctor today to see how the tibia is healing, hoping to get off crutches soon, but swinging around on the crutches or rolling my wheelchair have been great for upper body strength. I am healing. If you sent mail up to AK since then, it will be lost. No biggie.
Gnome, thank you for the explanation. Glad some things are going right in your life, because you certainly have your share of challenges. Best wishes.
Now we hold the Flames space and augment it if we can, as we await the return of the Merced Mouse.
More snow coming in today here on the Divide. 7F here right now. May go up to 20F today. Stay warm and cozy everyone.

He had this speech defect. Took me awhile to remember what that way of talkin' means. Means he's queer. I was real proud of myself. A real queer, right in strikin' distance. Answer to a prayer, it was. I keep this lead-weighted sap in my back pocket and was squirmin' to get my hand on that sucker.
Ray, the queer guy, gave me a big ol' look like God-knows-what, and he said "do I make you uncomfortable?" Jesus, The Whitest of White, Christ! He sounded, his voice, it sounded like my Mama tuckin' me into bed when I was five, before she run off, or maybe Papa done something to her.
I forgot about smackin' that fag up alongside top of his head. Forgot about the sap in my back pocket and I started to cry.
"Make a long story short, we killed off a few Bud Lights and Grain Belts and got to talkin'. Him about bein' gay in Make America Great Land. And me about my dreams of a pure racial white America.
