I ain't lyin'.

I sold a 1939 Packard last October and took this 1958 Volvo [P444] in trade for part of it. The car was original but the engine and transmission were very tired. The following day I came across a 1991 Buick 3.3 liter V6 that was a factory overrun and had never been in a car. Upon checking I found that if you take a 700R transmission (4 speed automatic with overdrive) from a S10 Chevy pick up you can make this engine a rear wheel drive set up. So off to the races I went with the set up.

Sharp eyes will detect that this isn't the one I saw.

Kinda hard to put value on that last post, Bjome, ya GnarlyBaseTard.

Bhwattya trinasay? Express? Emote? Gerbalize?

I think that cannabis should be regulated in your case - like with you in a straight jacket.

Sometimes I despair of you, but you're like a weed yourself!!!!!!!!

The smoke got thicker as I got much higher
And they're fun-fun-fun
Those steps of fire
Those steps of fire
Craxzy Viki O eats a can a day.
How else could one get to the top of that HUGE high-rise using the steps?
President Kennedy, himself a spinach man, would be impressed, no sh#t.

Chef Nolano's favorite.Gutsy wind today, straight outta the north. Biting cold. It helps a bit to find a sunny spot, like on the corner, where you can dodge the wind coming from one direction by sidling around the building, like.

Tea and crumpets and broccollie soup. It looks like one way I could get some broccoli down.

Well, I guess those rusted screws oughta be loose by now.

Mouse, here's a bit about toasting forks.
They are handy for toasting bread in the fireplace.
Or over a campfile, come to that.

The administration of Donald J. Trump, Republican President of the United States of America, announced in a 5 a.m. Tweet Wednesday, the hiring of 10,000 additional ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) officers. This "really, really big surge", he explained, was needed to rid the U.S. of hundreds of thousands to millions of "really bad hombres, rapists, anti-semites, and the like".

The law enforcement establishment in the country, as soon as they realized the President's rousing call to action involved them, began to search far and wide for potential candidates. Prison guards, jailers, mall cops, furloughed-out former military, "bad" cops, burnouts, civilian "ammo-sexuals"...there is only a finite number of possible applicants.

That is where the Hispano-American Friendship Group (en Espanol, La Junta Inexplicable) may have an ingenious solution to the nation's sudden need. Luis Ceja, of the San Diego (CA, USA) chapter, suggested that undocumented Mexicans living in the U.S., might be "processed, trained, and pressed into service" as they are quite familiar with ICE's mission from first-hand experience.

The use of undocumented Mexicans is more than timely in that close to a million of this population has recently flocked to gun stores, gun shows, Craig's list, and countless back alley vendors, purchasing untold numbers of handguns, rifles, shotguns, Tasers, ballistic vests, night-vision equipment, and the list goes on and on. This is a population that is becoming Americanized "bigly". Trump's election may spell a banner year for gun sales, and many new Hispanic National Rifle Association members to preserve those gun rights.

TBC, can you shed any light on rumors and back-grapevine gossip about a hostile takeover of Alamo Rental Cars by a mysterious Mexican Cartel/Motel chain?

Never use gasoline to start a fire to toast tea-time tasties. It ruins the taste.

I know most readers appreciate Patrick O'Brian's novels about seafaring heroics of Capt. Jack Aubrey. His particular favorite snack aboard ship was toasted cheese.
"His man," Killick, was a master at making it just as the captain ordered.

This would be ex-tar-ordinary, I'm sure...
