Actually on topic, from Marketwatch:
Donald Trump’s campaign is almost broke, and is paying an unusual amount of money to Trump-owned businesses. That’s according to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s FEC filing, details of which were released Monday night.
The report provided a number of rather shocking facts, including that his campaign raised just $3.1 million in May compared to Democratic rival Hillary Clinton’s $27 million.
In comparison, Mitt Romney’s campaign raised $86.5 million in May during the 2012 presidential race. And on Monday night alone, Clinton raised about $1.6 million at a celebrity-studded fundraiser in New York City.
Another eyebrow-raising tidbit: Of the $6.7 million the Trump campaign spent in May, nearly 20% went to Trump-owned businesses or family members.

I just can't understand why Mr. Trump seems to bring out such dislike even hate in some people.
A 20 year old man here from Britain attempted to pull a gun from security to kill Trump
Heather Fraley, his assigned public defender, said Sandford appeared to be competent but has autism and has previously attempted suicide.
Sandford’s mother, meanwhile, told court researchers that he was treated for obsessive compulsive disorder and anorexia when he was younger, and that he once ran away from a hospital in Britain, the AP reported.
Sandford doesn’t have a criminal history, said Fraley
guess he was "mentally ill"

An Invitation to Lemming's Landing
Politicians, lobbyists, mass shooters, and zealots,
Pedophiles and corporations selling guns and bullets,
There's a place that you can be,
Satisfied and worry free,
There's an open invitation for all those so repellent,
Step right up and feel the breeze,
No one cares if you're a sleaze,
It's your chance to be forgiven,
For the sh#t you pulled while livin,'
You can go out on your feet instead of on yer' knees,
So step right up now all you buggers,
To Lemmings Landing and meet the sluggers,
Step right up to the edge,
No back room deals to hedge,
Your admission has been paid by all the souls you've made to suffer,
Lemming's Landing is there there for all you partners in greed,
And there's never enough power to satisfy a politician's need,
For every psychotic killer,
And sociopath who loves a thriller,
The drop is long enough to think of what you've done before you bleed,
Now you've earned your invitation to launch from Lemming's Landing,
So step right up and step right off it isn't too demanding,
Now drop yer' cocks and grab yer' socks,
There's sharks down there below the rocks,
We'll give a little push so there's no misunderstanding.

Cruz didn't lose to Trump solely because of Trump's media mastery- Cruz lost because few people were interested in what he had to offer. That, and his smarmy, slimy, untrustworthy demeanor pretty much doomed him.

The media turned on him? Turned?
Well, yes. The media gave Trump 8 times the coverage of any other Republican candidate prior to Super Tuesday, and generally stayed clear of focusing on negatives. As I predicted then, they waited until he became the presumptive nomineee, and HRC the presumptive Democrats' nominee, to spend any serious time on his deficiencies.
He is, indeed, a loser, but so are the American people, who deserve better from our journalists than being mere propagandists. I don't find that an excuse the for Republicans that voted for Trump, or the party's inability to offer a reasonable alternative. Trump and the Republicans have primarily themselves to blame, but that doesn't absolve the MSM's abysmal performance.

An interesting development in the firing of Trump's campaign manager:
In their most recent FEC filing, the Donald Trump campaign revealed that they paid $35,000 to an ad agency that, by all appearances, doesn’t actually exist.
ThinkProgress’ Judd Legum caught the odd detail when poring over Trump’s financial statements.
Trump report includes three 10K payments to “Draper Sterling” for advertising
Who is going break it to him that it’s a fictional ad agency?
— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) June 21, 2016
Draper Sterling is the name of the ad agency in AMC’s Mad Men. But Legum is right; Trump’s financial filings show that he made several payments to Draper Sterling in April of this year for web advertising.
The address listed for “Draper Sterling” is nothing more than a house in the middle of suburban New Hampshire. Here it is in Google Maps.
So what going on? Well there are two circumstantial clues. The first is that “Draper Sterling” is located a fifteen-minute drive and a town over from the hometown of former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. The second…
Want some Trump news? The campaign is doing a forensic audit on all of Corey Lewandowski’s spending.

I don't tune in here much, but I read your posts JE. The conservative voice of reason or the reasonable voice of conservatism.
Anyway, what is the MSM? Ha I just got it. Mainstream Media.
Carry on.

Sorry if some of my barbs were a little too pointed yesterday, Cosmic. For the most part, my true motivation was to try to figure out why you could support Trump.

I think Donald should go to GoFundMe to raise money for his campaign
he is down to slightly over only one million dollars with 4 months to go
but he did say he had 10 billion of his own dollars and would fund his own campaign
time to start writing checks Donald, you can afford it, now do it

I can see where you would have a problem with this. Frankly, the issue is that you are the political polar opposite of Klimmer who sees Trump as the great savior of our nation. You would put Hillary in the same category, whereas I consider her just another part of the machine that we need to fix. There is a decent chance I will vote for her out of desperation to make sure Trump does NOT get in. But If I feel there is another viable option, I WILL take it.

Who could the party put up as an alternative, someone who lost in the primaries? They might as well throw their support behind Gary Johnson, he already has 10% and he is as nutty as most of Republicans

There is a new word for what Trump is doing, "scampaign"
Dude is paying himself a salary and his kids and friends are living off the expected donations and party money that ain't going to happen
There are financial improprieties linked to the fired manager. This is going to get fun.

^^^^^^^^^
Mr. Trump began June with just $1.3 million in cash on hand, a figure more typical for a campaign for the House of Representatives than the White House. He trailed Hillary Clinton, who raised more than $28 million in May, by more than $41 million, according to reports filed late Monday night with the Federal Election Commission.
He has a staff of around 70 people — compared with nearly 700 for Mrs. Clinton — suggesting only the barest effort toward preparing to contest swing states this fall.
