What Pagan said, Wootles. Congrats on proving the gods of medicine wrong.
Love hearing stories like that!
I have a slight dent in my forehead from getting kicked in the face during a martial arts class. It shattered my brow bone, messed up my vision--had to have major surgery to repair. Afterwards the doc said I'd have all these complications and need a bone graft from my rib within the year.
I said I don't think so--it's been 20 years and not a single problem.
Well, except for setting off metal detectors at airports cause of all the wire in my head.

I'm on cable Locker--no problem whatsoever.
You might want to check into satellite out there. Powell & Epperson have it and are sooooooooooooooo happy!

I'm on cable but connected through a wireless router. I did just a few moments ago load the whole thing but it took a few minutes. Dial ups might as well put a gun to their head.

Some of my favorite partners and places.
I always look forward to climbing with my main bro p-dub.
Here we've stopped for a roadside pose in a wooded valley somewhere in California:
I like hanging with my dad any time, but it's extra cool when we're in the greatest place on the planet:
My Belgian friend and living legend, Jean, after finishing the Comici on Cima Grande di Lavaredo:
My antipodean mate Stephen and I like working the wide cracks.
Here we're on Via del Drago at Long Dong, Taiwan:
Graham helps poor villagers in Peru.
As soon as I stop posing for this photo, we're going to check out some Eldo wideness on Werk Supp:
Skippy is my best friend, motivator, sparring partner and most psyched climber ever.
She sends 5.6 slab and 5.8 overhangs with a 36" vertical leap:
Lastly, a sports-klettern pic for all you alternative-lifestylers out there. (hi pat)
Practicing my delicate footwork on the beach at Tonsai, Thailand:

You guys rule for posting so many fun pics of yourselves. It's fun to put faces to names, see your kids, and meet the lurkers.
Here's another grubby one, but at least I'm not wearing my pretty, pretty helmet.
But this is my favorite picture w/ the helmet. Good times!

Yo Largo,
That was 30+ years ago and 30- pounds ago. Come to think of it, I hope this isn't an ongoing linear progression.

So this is a little introduction of my personal life: Here I am with my boys. I've been a single mom since they were very small, and now look at these guys! I just LOVE these guys! That's Jerry Dodrill art in the background.
And this is me two months ago in the Andes.
