Nope. Not lost. Just been out in my Tea Party Desert Compound backyard. You know, the over 500K plus BLM/USFS acres directly behind my house. Been out playing with my new toy. Amazingly accurate at 200-300 yards with a 12 Gauge Hornady SST Lite 2-3/4" 300 Grain FTX Slug.

Can only imagine what this would do to some fk wad bad guys chest or forehead. Would have loved to have had this bitd.

Fking-A.... smooth as silk!

It is obvious that you FORTMENTAL are still struggling desperately trying to get laid or NOT get your ass beat by your Spouse.

Obvious that the dumbass in the youtube fkstick short flick definitely has a PhD. You should go hook up with him FORTMENTAL. Nah. He'd probably beat your ass as well.

Too bad.

Was that some sort of threat?

Nothing like a little Wasted Fraud and Abuse from a Cal-Trans employee.

This is my day off, thank you very much, my Internet stalking friend. Check my IP, if you don't believe me.

So, was that a second threat for today? Were you always a bully, or were you bullied? What makes you such a hateful individual? Do you enjoy being mean behind a computer? Why are you banned from summitpost?

Seriously, Rick, I feel sorry for you. There but for the Grace of God...

How about you read some actual science on ocean currents and precipitation patterns rather than depending on the newspapers or blogs for your information?//

So the BBC and the Independent are lying? They made up all the scientists they quote, along with the papers on which they report?

Add Juneclimber to the ranks of those who don't understand how an average works.

Climate change means some places may get cooler, while others get warmer, while the global average temp goes up. Climate change also means some places will get wetter while other places get drier.

Again, he was simply talking about global temperature... refuting the claim that warming had stopped... or slowed. He made no mention of those adjustments.

In 3 minutes he didn't give the source for any of his graphs, or define their axes. But "those adjustments" are one of many ways we know that global warming has not stopped.

BTW. Love those curve fitted results.

Here we learn that you don't know what "curve fitted" means. That's not it.

How dishonest.

Yep. Calling people liars when they're not.

Let's see. Warming (from a relatively cool base) causes increased plant growth, which results in more CO2 production. Hmm.

I thought that growing plants took CO2 from the air. Why is some of your favorite bloggers saying that higher CO2 levels are good for plants if plants produce the CO2?

Is that the Sketch hypothesis?
You're 0 for 4 in finding those misrepresentations you claimed.

Are you saying plant growth didn't increase, as the planet warmed, after the last ice age?
It's pathetic how you try so hard to refute such basic stuff.

Nope, that pathetic straw man lives just in your head. I asked about your Sketch hypothesis, though. Do you think an increase in plant growth explains most of the CO2 rise with temperature?

you guys are pretty desperate to keep posting up the same old stuff... nothing new on your end, and yet the science moves ahead.

And yet the temps remain the same! :)

Climate Change Hoax Exposed

...

“The idea of a carbon footprint is pathetic and ludicrous propaganda, since CO2 is beneficial for life,” Dr. Karlstrom explained to AFP in an informal email exchange.

It's good to know that Ron and Michele Bachmann get their info from the same source.

Umm, all the posted articles were about only the UK.

Whatever you say, blahblah.

GISS, nice. That is a statistical fabrication, Winston has been hard at work. Here is the current difference between empirical observation and the statistical fabrication:

www1.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/ghcn/daily

Keep adjusting those numbers, eventually you get perfect circles!

That's just UHSCN. Here is howw GISS has then rewritten the past:

http://www.giss.nasa.gov/data/update/gistemp/graphs/FigD.txt

Science is supposed to be based on empirical evidence - not value added, adjusted, and homogenised data.

the so called manipulation is actually just the 5 year average, the year averaged with the two before and the two after...

as we've talked about a lot, this gets at the issue of year-to-year variability and looking for trends that are small compared to that variability (but can be large, very large, over a long time, meaning decades).//

You are not correct in this case, these adjustments are data-to-data comparisons. You can download all the data yourself at the other link I provided. Here is the public documentation at NCDC, although it has not been updated since 2007:

http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/climate/research/ushcn/ushcn.html

RAW:

Adjustments:

As you can see, the official numbers match Goddard's graph. Goddard is more current, however, and documents the increasing mangling of the empirical data.

Here are Hansen's original papers concerning the GISS portion of the adjustments, before and after:

And Ptolemy had his reasons for adjusting the data.

The data manipulation may be somewhat well documented, but it is still manipulation - anything based on the product is based on a statistical fabrication, not on empirical data.

Anyone who cares can look at what is done, the results, and decide for themselves that they think. I just think people ought to know what is going on.

And thanks for addressing what I posted, rather than simply attacking me personally.

It's going to be winter soon. So much for global warming, you egghead number crunchers!

Maybe get out of your posh government funded offices and experience the weather like I do!

I experience weather every day!

You nerds aren't as smart as you think, chew on that.
