Memory of a Reality, Separate in Time
Jim Yoder and his crew from up in Washington
Invited me way back in nineteen eighty one
As my memory through time fades and wanes
A memory of Seperate Reality still remains
We all gave it a go and fully burnt out our arms
At the crux was a puzzle that repelled all our charms
Jim boy almost got it on his third try
If I failed at it again I was ready to cry
The third time I fell off and still hung by a stuck toe
But I'd figured out the sequence for the crux move throw
Jamming out again I stuck the holds and took a look
And swung around my right foot for the final heel hook
Dangling my head over I watched my friend
Who then cruised it so smoothly on a final send
Back at the lodge Yabo cursed me and frowned
Because we didn't flash it straight away or pull our gear down
I respected his opinion but we had pulled our rope through
Though I never could argue with his maniacal review
It all seams like a dream when I look back and realize
We had led the route clean after multiple tries
I was never a rock star or world class in any way
And barely pulled five eleven on my very best day
But I climbed some great routes and put up a few too
And looking back on it all now I guess that'll have to do

Past the door knobs an' go in' higher
Water - water every where
The western shores are wet wet wet
soggy is the coast at last.
The last sun set coast is soggy
What is now turbulent, brown
At last it will be very green
As much as I've shoveled I don't think my quarter acre equals, Flipflop's
Did you see his all but avalanched, plowed in ride? Sheeesh ! I was out there for on deep year in the 80s- 82-3? But that big is record stuff fit for More pictures!
Hey, wow ! B. how are you feeling?
my shoulders are killing me. - I'm actually worried! It's a weird raised arm lifting motion.
That's some strange reverse motion, then add the repetitive nature of removing snow
Add the crazy fact; it is just moving it from one place to another . . . .
My car drift is less than half the size it's a killer still.
ZB could you add a snow-shovel to the Sisyphus gif?

FlipFlop,
Any idea what'z that cat , Gill J up to ?
How old is he ? must be 50 ? 53?
Anyway 22 inches of snow on 6 hours Dumpage!
This much snow is actually not like that though!
That is to much snow!
Here ya go the one and only

neebee,
Libby? Montana! Yikes that is the home of an open pit Vermiculite mine. A seriously dangerous environmental super-fund site. The resulting 'tillings' Or the remains from the mining process were left in house and building sized piles.
The dust that blew /blows off the piles contains very high levels of Asbestos particles.
While I know it was addressed, the fix was never good or complete.
I won't go into it but it is a terrible story of corporate arrogance.

Cripple Creek?
Well, the city arrived and cut up the 80-90 tree that blew down and placed it on what either is or is not my property.
I get a peaceful easement feeling. Sureglad it didn't fall on anyone.
I think it's 2 cords, D ond G?

Have you ever noticed the folks who read The Flames and then feel compelled to make derogatory remarks about the thread.
