I can vote for the candidates who are most interested in stopping the squeezing of the tube

And you think that is the republicans. hahahaha..

Riiiight..

This is the very reason one needs to be able to understand history. You can't fix a problem if you dont understand it. Republicans still don't understand. They are still following the neocon ideology and don't understand that they have a root infection.

The "problem" is that Fattass cannot make a valid link between "socialism" and a specific piece of legislation signed by the President.

"Socialism" is government OWNERSHIP of the "means of production", as in factories, etc

The Federal Government, under Obama, does not "own" any means of production.

The ONLY possible "ownership" would be the partial ownership combined with GM itself of the "loan" to GM, which Fattass cannot even reluctantly admit has been an out of the park HOME RUN.

SO, Fattrad just continues, over and over, to show his childish grasp of issues.

And because he is factually ignorant, has no other recourse but to attempt vague, unsubstantiated, and ultimately failing, personal insults.

You might as well be attempting discourse with a three year old.

LIFE is not fair.

Gee Lois, I wouldn't have been able to figure that out without your help.

Thanks so very much.

You get pissed when you think that we are belittling you for not being smart. Yet you insult my intelligence with this statement. You must really think that I am an idiot.

Jeff, very weak sauce.

No substantiation to your "comment".

Try really, really hard to avoid vague talking points and offer specifics from credible sources that back up any contentions you choose to make.

No, I think you are very smart. I do also think you whine a whole lot. Truth be told, John, I think you are a whiner by nature which is not to say I can't like you, anyway. I have faults, also. I would venture to say your IQ is higher than mine. So is Rox's IQ and so it is a whole bunch of you guys here. On an absolute level - most of you probably ARE smarter than me (all though I did get 100% on all my CME exams last night so at least I have SOME brains)

It is not just a matter of IQ alone. What to you do (and what have you done) with your "smarter than me" brains. In the end, that is really all that matters. So what do you do with your higher intellect? Well, you sit around arguing about who did what and whose fault everything is. Who was "more bad" than who. That is, apparently what smart people do. Evidently, that is what people who are smarter than me do - they blame everyone (and figure out who was really at fault) but then, they continue the same behaviors which caused the problem in the first place.

Now what do the "not so smart" people (like me, for example) do? Well we find the person who can fix the problem. We pay for results.

Pure stupidity.

Evidently, that is what people who are smarter than me do

No.. smart people do a better job of interpreting things.

John,

Well based on what you have put forth, it makes absolutely no sense for us to engage in discussion. I don't agree with any of those assessments which you have offered but you are certainly entitled to your opinion. For my part, I am only interested in having debates with people who are not overtly hostile and genuinely wish to look at the various issues. If you perceive me in the light you have outlined, then, of course, you WILL be hostile. You would be unable to meet my criteria for having non-hostile interaction as a requisite for discussion.

Your attitude, here-to-fore, makes a whole lot more sense, given what you have stated in your last post. If such is truly what you believe, I will not attempt to change your mind. It is obvious that you are entrenched in that viewpoint and your perceptions are not likely to be altered. In fact, you will predictably persist in those perceptions of me regardless of anything I say or do. Accordingly, as you wish, thus it will be BUT then, I trust you will alsounderstand if I elect not to any answer of your various posts ever directed at me.

Fort Mental,

I do wish to thank you for sharing your perceptions, thus clearing up this matter. It certainly does explain a whole lot of that which here-to-fore made no sense to me. Continued interaction would be pointless and would likely generate nothing but additional hostility. There would be no realistic prospect of us ever achieving any meeting of the minds. In fact, discussion would foster both of us to invest time and energy into patently negative pursuits. Doing so would certainly not represent a positive use of our respective life energies. If it is all the same to you, then, regarding future discussions between us, I shall simply pass.

You are overtly hostile Lois. When you figure that out, then maybe you can start to understand some of the other things we have tried to show you.

"We" are the people who vote for persons who want to approach the problem via stemming the spending. For the moment, that refers to people who support one or more GOP candidates who favor that same approach.

uh.. no.. the GOP may say they want to stem spending, but that isn't what they do. So bullshit on your analysis.

Scary...who does this sound like?

Profile of the Sociopath

Glibness and Superficial Charm

Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.

Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as "their right."

Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and even able to pass lie detector tests.

Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.

Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.

Change is against the republican mantra. She is mean spirited and in her mind better than the rest of us.

She will never listen...her cup runneth over.

Norton,

Obama's aspiration of a government run medical system is the classic example of his socialism.

The evil one

Please demonstrate for the class how a single-payer system equates to government owning the MEANS OF PRODUCTION. kthxbai.

How did I insult your IQ, John.

How many different times have you said.."life is unfair" in direct response to me? Do you know? Do you realize how insulting that is? As though I couldn't figure that out? Whenever you think I am whining, you trot out the.."life is unfair" argument. The problem is that I am not whining. I am making cogent points to which you have no answer, so you get upset and decide that it is I who is whining.

You don't understand that the republicans have been lying to you. They haven't reduced spending. Not a single one of them in the last 50 years.

You think that reducing spending is the answer to everything. In the long run it is, but in the short term is could really hurt us. So it is not so simple as to say.. Obama failed because he hasn't reduced spending today.

But you don't understand that, so you continue on with the notion that Obama is terrible and the "only" people who will save you are the republicans.

And for making that argument, you will say that I am whining.

Meh..

And you wont think of that as an insult either. Yet it is.

double Meh..
