Dozens of GOP delegates launch new push to halt Donald Trump
By Ed O'Keefe
June 17 at 3:58 PM
Dozens of Republican convention delegates are hatching a new plan to block Donald Trump at this summer’s party meetings, in what has become the most organized effort so far to stop the businessman from becoming the GOP nominee.
The moves come amid declining poll numbers for Trump and growing concerns among Republicans that Trump is squandering his chance to defeat Democrat Hillary Clinton. Several controversies — including his racial attacks on a federal judge, renewing his call to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States and support for changing the nation’s gun laws — have raised concerns among Republicans that Trump is not really a conservative and is too reckless to run a successful race.
Given the strife, a growing group of anti-Trump delegates are convinced that enough like-minded Republicans will band together in the next month to change party rules and allow delegates to vote for whomever they want, regardless of who won state caucuses and primaries.
The new push is being run by the only people who can actually make changes to party rules, rather than by pundits and media figures who have been pining for a Trump alternative. Many of the delegates involved supported Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas in the primary but say they are not taking cues from any of Trump’s vanquished opponents.
“This literally is an ‘Anybody but Trump’ movement,” said Kendal Unruh, a Republican delegate from Colorado who is leading the campaign. “Nobody has any idea who is going to step in and be the nominee, but we’re not worried about that. We’re just doing that job to make sure that he’s not the face of our party.”
The new wave of anti-Trump organizing comes as an increasing number of prominent Republicans have signaled they will not support Trump for president.
In addition, House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.), who is slated to chair the Republican National Convention next month in Cleveland, said in remarks released Friday that House Republicans should “follow their conscience” on whether to support Trump.

some of you fake Christians need a refresher course on the teaching of Jesus, the archetypical Progressive liberal.
All of liberal ideology parallels Jesus's teaching,
whereas the Conservative's ideology is exactly what Jesus railed against back then,
Jesus didn't impose strict rules and incite hate against others, he fought against right wing tyranny

And then there's the myopia.
And then there's the simplistic, cursory generalization used to explain two very dissimilar things.
It's almost amusing to watch trump supporters get pissed off and defensive over the fact they are supporting a know nothing racist.
Butt hurt? Yes, they are.

That memo Does Not say that Obama is supporting ISIS
maybe you can't read English
Please point out where the memo says that Obama supports ISIS
if you post something that says something other than you say it does, then it means you can't post meaningful information

Getting back on topic, here's another report from a Trump rally; kind of makes me think of good old Klimmer:
TAMPA, FL—Saying they had been so swept up in the excitement of the moment that they hadn’t been paying attention to what they were shouting, the crowd at a Donald Trump rally in Tampa reportedly came to the realization Wednesday that they had been chanting the phrase “We are frightened and helpless” for the past half hour. “Looking back on it now, I guess we all started chanting ‘We’re so, so scared’ as soon as we got into the auditorium, and then when Trump came out onstage, it really picked up and we added the part about feeling completely impotent in the face of change,” said Trump supporter Colby Swanson, 45, who explained that, after thinking back, some attendees had started chanting “Rage is my only outlet” on and off while they were waiting in line to enter the event. “Boy, we were chanting it really loud for a while, especially after Trump said our country doesn’t win anymore and that we shouldn’t let Muslim refugees into the U.S. Come to think of it, towards the end there, I remember just yelling ‘The world has passed me by’ over and over again.” After recognizing their embarrassing blunder, the Trump supporters were said to have collected themselves and returned to their traditional chant of “Build the wall.”

Cosby, under oath, has admitted to doing acts that constituted rape. To me that seals the deal. I do not know if he has raped all 50 or 60 women who have come forward.
In contrast one woman has claimed Bill Clinton raped her and I haven't heard any corroborating evidence. That's thin evidence. But because Bill and Hillary and benghaziiiiii it must be true.
Edit: and you are voting for an open racist.

Yes, Bill Cosby is a rapist
Bill Clinton has women that have accused him of sexual misconduct
No charges of rape have been filed against him that have been legitimate
People say Obama is a homo crack addict on the internet, does that mean it's true?
No it's hate speech
when you lie to make a point, it's hate speech
Should Cosby go to jail, yes
he has so much evidence against him it's not even funny
Clinton conspiracy theories, zero evidence

Trump is setting modern records for political toxicity
— at least for a major-party candidate this far out from an election.
Seventy percent of Americans surveyed in an ABC News/Washington Post poll out this week had an unfavorable opinion of Trump, up 10 points over the past month. The poll showed Trump’s favorable rating cratering at 29 percent, down from 37 percent last month.
The numbers were similar in a Bloomberg Politics poll: Trump’s favorable rating is just 31 percent, with 66 percent viewing him unfavorably. That’s only marginally better than in March, when 29 percent viewed Trump favorably, and 68 percent had an unfavorable opinion.

Trumpy Dumpty already has an advisor: Joseph Schmitz. Blackwater International/Prince fame
A look at his Bio.
https://ballotpedia.org/Joseph_Schmitz
As for Prince.
“Prince published Civilian Warriors, a personal memoir dedicated in part to dispelling what Prince claimed were misperceptions about the Blackwater record—particularly concerning its employees' behavior in combat, the company's secrecy, and his own political connections.[4] "Civilian Warriors is an angry book," opined a Bloomberg Businessweek write-up of the memoir, "and some of Prince’s contentions have made immediate headlines: He argues that ill-conceived State Department regulations led to Blackwater’s many firefights in Iraq; he has accused former CIA Director Leon Panetta of blowing his cover as an intelligence asset; and he contends that, had Blackwater still been providing security for America’s diplomats, Chris Stevens, the ambassador killed in Benghazi, would be alive today."[5]
The book is also a screed against government incompetence and a paean to military contracting. According to Businessweek, Prince wanted the book "to prove two things he strongly believed in: the dynamism of the private sector, and that some of the world’s most frustrating problems—piracy, warlords, genocide—could be solved by small groups of highly trained men with guns."[6]
*note: Half Truth, in private sector or mercenary army which he advocates has been around for quite a while. Problem when the enemy sees a white person [US] with a weapon even when the US military has left or is not even involved that enemy still believes it is the US behind/doing the killing. The French as well as UK have the same, that is why they are always being targeted.
Get a better picture of the as$hole yourself by reading about his ego.
Plus, he has a few secrets he refuses to add the Benghazi attack, the one about the same [CIA smuggled arms in route to Syria] rockets we gave to the opposition that were used to blow the wall of the consulate.

I'm actually pretty f*#king horrified that enough brainless bigots think this know nothing bully is qualified to be a nominee of a major political party.
That's someone we can agree on.
Where we seem to disagree is the extent of narrow-minded, hostile intolerance from the left. This thread is a good example. It's been averaging around 100 posts/day. About 90 of those posts are little more than people bashing Trump and anyone who supports him. Pretty much a circle jerk of hate.
Everybody knows what Trump is about, yet the hatefest continues.

Who's your pick, Hillary or Melania?
Perhaps I'm biased, but mine is Hillary.
