, on a page at random ! On google images!
I've got to try to grab it next time I see it !

JBro, yhea a few folks tripped over that name.
From the way I read it, there is no knowledge of so no intention
Of the wry use of the pioneering name
Nor, much understanding of the game.

The thing that I was inda thinking of linking

then I've got to tell of a creep of deadhead,
People from The Taco stand threw up their hands it seems
when I mentioned the wierdo from NJ
Lee Jay Randell??
Yikes he was very evil
I felt like I was put on the path to see to it that he never kilt any one,
(If I knew . . . )
due to stupid antics,
He was brain dead to rudimentary objective stimuli
to avoid putting anyone in his vicinity at risk I often shadowed him.
Ran interference, I was always aware of the risk,
so avoided getting caught with my "wrist out"

I could watch-out, careful not to get caught with my "wrist out"
( Or if . . ., damn -it, Low m0F!, .medicate if Necessary !)

Low level Lee got his revenge for our blocking his attempts at predation.

His thing was to pass on the worst possible copy of the one show you were on the deck for,
Often when you knew there was a patch to the board . . .
so you knew that a true gem was available.
( we all played along buying twice as many Maxelle xl tapes as we needed, so cases. )

I was also in with Grand-Pubahs,

They had bequeathed the rigs to those they thought would compete with each other to get the best sound.
It came down to who had of double NAHAMICI microphones(100s' I thinks ? )
NAC 100? All of it was linked to a trusty deck - there were was a stratospheres' difference between the qualities, most often we had a Sony D-5,
(weakish sauce, by 87?, above my pay grade, , , ya can tell right z)
The Mics. were the ' shot-gun mounted style which rode 3 Or 4 times as high
as most audience tapers' Riggs

. The slant related to the hight (And stillness of the air,)
could land very crisp sound, there were patches to the board from identical rigs,

as it was, I was requested, requited willingly, to play the scan the crowd
and Steeler the fools that ruined tapers Nights , away from where we were before the got close or if someone was yelling crazy go and move the volume to off
by steering away from the ad hock zone we defended.

DEFINITION OF LASCIVIOUSNESS
The lasciviousness (of the Latin lascivia) is, according to the dictionary of the Spanish Royal Academy (RAE) , the propensity to the carnal delights . It is about sexual desire or lust without control .

Lust involves the inability to control libido , which can lead to an obsession . A person with lasciviousness looks morbidly or with sexual intentions. For example: "Both spent hours looking at each other with lasciviousness until they melted into a passionate kiss to get lost in the night . "

The term is also related to shamelessness and lust . Religions , therefore , condemn lewdness and associate it with undue and sinful conduct.

Christianity, for example, tries to keep teens and young people from falling into what, according to their moral parameters, is lewd behavior. Some Christian groups even consider that the dance is within the group, especially when it is practiced in discotheques, since it includes the corporal contact between different people in a context of descontrol, given the low of the defenses that generates the consumption of alcohol , in combination with the intensity of the music and the slope of the dance floor.

Something about Cosmic's talent for manipulation of images on the computer.

It's "remarkable," the similarity here. I cannot get over it.

Merced on the Rise.
Workers of the world unite to work worlds of wonder downtown.
What's not to like?
Don't start...it's too nice a day.
Since the storms are over, the construction site of the UCM Downtown Center has come alive.
The workers are united in achieving their quotas of rods
laid and tied in preparation for the pouring of the flooring.
This is how walls are made, by the way:
With steep sides and steel reinforcing and cold concrete several inches thick.

By old Merced, you mean downtown Merced, I 'speckt.

There's a lot of Things happening out north of the creek towards U-Land, but it's stagnated,
having choked on the plethora of empty domiciles-to-be and subdivided lots choked with weeds.

There are planned renovations for the old El Cap Hotel
PLUS the Mainzer/UA/Strand/Merced Cinema building across from the Tioga --
and this is because of one company which has purchased both buildings.

The El Cap includes about an eighth part of the block on Main and M, which includes shops on Main.

Downtowns are fine places for civic happenings, of course, and this is why we still need them.

It's what helped make America great, just ask Walt "Main Street" Disney.

It's more fun thank you than stalking the Walking Malls,
but we gotta take what's given as we live, shop, eat, dine, and breath.

I covered forty blocks yesterday downtown. Three separate trips for three different errands.

Who would want to walk in a mall? I can see it if it's not an Aesthetic Thing --
I mean, who would want to climb in a fukkin' gym? Right? :0)

And there it is.

That is the El Cap Hotel on the left, the Shaffer Bldg. across M Street from it, and the DA's office with the clock face catercorner from the El Cap.

The plans call for a larger building which would block the Shaffer Bldg in this view.
How tall it will be, I don't know. The old El Cap will be renovated and attached.

This used to be a pretty lively block for business, but faded in the seventies.

The lot next to the Asian Market, which burned late last year, was the site, in those better days, of the Troy Laundry. My friend Pete Padilla was telling me of them days.

His father, Manuel, a former Marine in the Pacific War, was a delivery driver for the laundry. His three boys were members of my and the Rev's scout troop. My association with the Middle Brother, Mickey, was the basis of my relationship with the family and goes back to the earliest days I lived here.

Pete said the laundry folded when the two families (who were related by marriage) who ran the businesses realized they would have to consolidate, as there was not enough custom for two places, especially after the Tioga Hotel stopped serving guests.
The Tioga was THE PLACE for years that people could find a bed and a meal anytime. Travelers to Yosemite could de-train a couple of blocks away and catch the Continental or the Greyhound and whichever was the transportation venue for the Park...don't know this one, as the YVRR shut down in '46.

There must have been some enterprise which managed this service, prior to YARTS. Must have been VIA. I think my dad's assistant manager took a job with them as a driver after the PacTel office shut down here and Boomer took early retirement. That was in the time frame. Hmm...

Pete went on about how he was sent to the Shaffer Bldg. with fresh linen for the doctors who maintained offices there...fewer and fewer as time went on. Manuel and some others, his brother, too, went to work for Merced Laundry and this is where he worked in '61 when my family came here.

Mickey and I "learned" rappelling on the banksides of Bear Creek out near his house on Kibby, which used to be pretty far out in the country, surrounded by almond trees. Now it's much more civilized, but still more country than city.

I was just this morning talking to Dennis (NOT Pete!)* Wainwright, who lives far out at the end of Bear Creek, and another friend of BroTim's, Eric, about living away from the center of Things. I told them how happy BroMike's wife Michelle is now they have the house here in town instead of the one on the river in Merced Falls.

"Yeah, you need to call in advance to make sure they're going to be home." This more or less was what they both said almost in unison. And you need to call before you come home to see what's needed from the store, Pete added. This was something that Mrs. Padilla used to insist upon, I remember!
*sorry for the mistaken ID...I had "Pete" on the brain!
