We had three feral Catz who came around.

We're down to one regular and one very occasional visitor.

I'm thinking one has perished.

Just another Thing I don't get,

You never know what will be coming down.

Props for Procrastinating

Sometimes you just have to go have some fun...

The dog food is getting low now
Way down in the bin
There's a hundred other things to do
And my strength is on the mend

So I'm up before dawn
Would rather have slept in
And my airplane models are calling me
Where do I begin?

Flying with my home boys
And training on the wind
I know there will be fun had
And hope it won't be the end
For one of my favorite aircraft
That would be a sin
So wish me lots of luck boys
I'll be sure to fill you in

I'll be cautious when I'm landing
And watchful when I ascend
It's a perfect day for flying
And seeing propellers spin

So I'm up before dawn
Would rather have slept in
And my airplane models are calling me
Where do I begin?

But wait, there's more!!!!

Some Thing very big is not happening.
I detect not a drop of "greatness" anywhere,
as promised by our recently elected leader.
Sequoias fall eventually
and
it matters not the age of a tree.
When it's time it's time and it falls,
taking other trees with it.
It falls and life proceeds nourished on what is past.
A more perfect union lies ahead, we American humans hope.
There is always Hope for Change going on lately,
as if Change was always good, that Things are really terrible.
But that's a crock because we'll always have enough to eat, as a whole,
and there will always be the hungry and the homeless,
expensive mortgages and high energy costs,
nasty pollution of all sorts and corruption in public office,
hate for those different from us and distrust of our government,
and heavy library fines but no free cable.
I would not characterize my fellow Americans united as great.
We are more comical and misguided than noble and dedicated to ideals.
Self-aggrandizement comes from the top and the showboat now in office,
tweeting away, feeding his ego, will fall and that will be that.
There might be a case to be made that
"Together we citizens are greater than the sum of our parties."
That does not make a great deal of sense, maybe,
but it is worth thinking about, while the greatness accrues.

A few words from the Master of Procrastination (aka Master of all CV Trivia).

This guy has always been around. Woodn't be surprised if it traveled from Michigan thru Washington to California.

Never got around to asking my mom where it came from. Won't happen now. Seems to be over a hundred years old. Was born in Italy. So it's a long strange trip he's been on. I never once saw a cig in it, though that was it's nominal purpose. What's in a name?

You never know what will be coming down.

"We've been in the toothpaste business realm for decades, so we can say with some authority that the new president, by dint of his notorious 'breath of sulfur fart bad breath' leaves a definite impact upon those near and dear to him, while giving hundreds of pre-teens and teens advanced warning, thereby saving them from certain, if infantile, sexual assault and battery. Beyond this, we cannot comment due to concerns raised by our legal team and our sponsors."

I liked Going Up the Country which that trio of Daisy and Lewis performed. It's unsusual to see three people who are listed as just two.

I listened as well to I'm Going Home by the Full-Tilt Kitty Band, tagged on the end of the video.

Their little sesh made me think of Facelift and El Grupo Don Rick Andy and the campfire.

I received a long email from Tuolumne City today. LostInShanghai had some interesting stories of shooting film in LA during the demonstrations there in the sixties, bringing a raft of other memories to lodge for a time on the shores of my consciousness.

LIS brought up the idea that the Nabobs about to begin running the country for us will be taking us all back to the Fifties, a supposed era of greatness here in America. This is the nature of conservatism, to nurture the traditons, celebrate the history, and declare thereby the country's importance.

Well, I'm the King of Siam. You're just Cambodia. It's all just ego. We Terrans would likely get along just peachy together if we just sit down and jam. The Klingons are coming sooner or later and we should prepare to welcome them by at least looking organized and friendly.

Oo Hooobster! You must of not been hangin' when I played with your previous picture.
I tried it out to see how it looked, I double posted the other snowy shot.
Then on a lap top I placed it then turned it changing the vertical orientation a bit .
I looked at it in Various available hues of white & black,
then back to see how differing exposure and colorl looked.
It was so taking liberties with your picture , I canned it all with out posting anything
then re-posted just the picture Then felt bad for not asking.

It seems that We here, have been spared Any snow,
and I like to have a little bit just to frame in and out the views
And something to gripe about ,
while getting the excuse to insist on going sledding.
Thanks for the shot, Perfect Powder 'un da' Branches
We shall leave off from speculation as to the ephemeral faces.

Wow First, from '68,it is not so funky
there is another identical except more familiar looking 'album cover' version

[Click to View YouTube Video] scroll around to the middle
At 41:28 (of the Mr Bojangles),
there's a funky break in the number

" sounds like John Fahey on Speed!"

(or just groove past the roots/country)

(More funky if ya' know. . . Pissin' in the Wind, or I'm not Strange. . . .just for an example)

But . . There is this; it is a shorter Classic,

Take the discussions of religion elsewhere, zBrown. Rock gods, old dogs, who the hell cares? :0)
