I'm glad it isn't you, TR. My mother lived another 18 months after
her diagnosis of small cell lung cancer. Treatments are improving,
so there is some hope for your friend. . .

CSN&Y did a 1970 concert at san diego's balboa stadium.
their first album with neil young had just come out.
the whole stadium(stands & field)was packed/overflowing.
we stood in front of the stage. we were young, we were free,
and then suddenly...there were four of our fellow student war
protestors dead & nine wounded at kent state, ohio!! i was a
sophomore at san diego state...
