Then if you condemn Iraq, you should also condemn the exact same thing that has been done in Libya (regime extermination) but in a more quieter fashion with the exact same results. ISIS has taken control.
Correct?
Will you be voting for the confessed architect of that regime extermination next Nov, Mtnyoung?
All firey Hell death assuredly, and by un-righteous CIA money, eh
Oh, the CIA did it now. Got it.
And ensuing war in Iraq voted and supported for by the same architect of the Libya regime extermination.

Are you talking to me The Chief?
If so, then yes, you are correct.
And, if memory serves, I posted against that intervention on the Supertopo thread about it.

I really don't want to backtrack through all this. I think the original caliphate was referred to (a long time and many conflicts ago). That makes me wonder, was it a success?
Well, there were many caliphates. But I believe the one referred to was the first( Sunni) , the direct successors of Mohammed. It lasted over 600 years from 632 to 1258, during which period they ruled from Southern France to the Indus River. The ottomans were their successors for another several hundred years.
Maybe if the USA lasts another 400 years we could judge better about its success.
But the original caliphate was elected by consensus. I don't recall any such election this time around.

Godammit The Chief, I answer one question and then look back and you've edited in an additional question. Start a new frigging post, would you please.
I'll vote for Hillary over any of the puke Republican idiot, hatemongers out there, yes. I'd hold my nose, but I'd do it.
Actually, I might vote for Kasinich if he were the Republican nominee (but I doubt he will be).

I happen to work alongside some Libyans in the USA. Scientists. Hard workers.
I think that Playboy and LSD and MDMA-laced water could do a lot for us in the region.
I understand that this might be just too too much.
I admire your deleted caption of RuPaul and Steven Harper RP! GOod work Chief in exposing transexual neoconservaturdism!

That's a very insightful way of looking at that question.

I'll vote for Hillary over any of the puke Republican idiot
So, you will vote for an individual that designed and initiated the exact same violence and regime exterminations as did those you supposedly hate, the repub puke idiots. That has ultimately ended in with the supposed same results. ISIS has taken control of the country in which that regime change was completed.
How logical is that MTNyoung?

I know all about Rumsfield, The Company and Bin Laden etc. All about our fk you's to bin laden after we promised him Cookies, Milk and 200 virgins here on earth if he helped us rid the commies from Afghanville in the 80's.
That is all old news. Very old news. Cus old Bill Clinton continued with it. He could have taken bin laden out over a dozen times. But each time gave a firm "Negative" to pull the trigger.

The Chief:
1. Hillary didn't design the Libya intervention, the Europeans did (she did favor our getting into it, which was, in my view, a mistake).
2. I hate the (current) Republican hatemongers because they stir up fears and hate to gain the support of the middle class, who, if elected, they will then thoroughly f#$k. None of them have any particular foreign policy record that I could hold against them.
3. I don't vote on a single issue. Frankly the next Supreme Court appointees, and the environment, as examples, are more important issues to me than is foreign policy.
4. Hillary stinks for many reasons, but she's not as bad as the Republicans (with the one exception). Perfectly logical.
Now, right after I post this, I'll have to look up-thread to see what you've edited into the post I'm trying to respond to.

Never said she designed the intervention.
She confessed that she designed and implemented the regime change of Gadaffi to motivate free elections and democracy in Libya at her last eight hour inquisition. I watched the entire deal.

No where did I state intervention Mtnyoung.
Regime Change and Intervention are now considered the same in your book?
What ever Mtnyoung.
More excuses for that women. More illogical and bullshet excuses by so many of you that will vote partisan regardless the caliber of the nominee.
Btw, she admitted that she took advantage of the situation that was developing in Libya and recommend to the POTUS that we support monetarily and with eq, the anti-Gadaffi militias. And in turn also motivate them to take down Gadaffi at all costs so that democracy and free elections could return to that nation.

I did forget to add all about Bin Ladens family ties to Cheney and Haliburton. Yup, know all about that shet.
That is one of the primary reasons I voted for Obama the first time.

Well gosh, The Chief, I guess it was my mistake to think that your words: "...you will vote for an individual that designed and initiated the exact same violence..." meant intervention.
Obviously I should have known that you meant "regime change" by that phrase.
And, BTW, you'll be voting for which environment gutting, middle-class f#@king, veteran screwing Republican candidate because you can't stand the lesser of two evils?

Substitute The Chief for Humpty Dumpty (sounds richly deserved doesn't it?):
“When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less."
