Bump for booze!

Jeff Deikis & American Alpine Club donated 2 kegs of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Ed Sampson & La Sportiva donated 50 Kleen Kanteen mugs
Circle K of Joshua tree for the ice
Indian Cove Market for cooler space pre-party

Their combined efforts along with those who helped pull beers cleared $415 which directly donated to the Gordon Fund!

Oh yeah, and a big thanks to the rummies! Couldn't do it without you :)
looking sketchy there...

What a great event! An excellent turn out for an excellent cause! Many Kudos to the organizers, worker bees, participants and supporters! I'm just starting to sort through some photos, so here's the first batch of portraits from the GordoFest (more to come)...

I'm just pissed that I missed an event that was sponsored by The Circle K
Dammit.
I was reassembing my jeep...and cussin' a lot. A party would've been much better.

But then, I Could've been born rich, too.....instead of just good lookin'.
Cheers, ya'll

Nice meeting you too Sullly - and many of you. I managed not to get to spend time with a fair number as well. We'll have to do it again then. :)

Sigh!

I missed out on some real fun, but I now have 2 new calves to compensate. I'm sure there'll be another time, another year for the tradional fun(d) raiser.

For those who attended..... what's your guess on how many people were at the Fest? I suppose I could count the attendee list but anyone with an educated guess?

I'm also accepting quotes, letters or trip reports from the event to include to our sponsors. On my list to-do is to send a final thank you note regarding the successful event. I'm sure that many of you would agree that the donations from corporate and private sponsors was huge!

Submissions, ideas or write-ups from attendees would me mucho appreciated!

Fantastic portraits, Brassy. It was so good to see you and Crimper. You both look fabulous as does Mr. Vogel who just does not seem to age.

Susan, I like Todd's statement when he was on the roof

This looks to have been something else. Wish I could've attended, as last year was so much fun. Been reading the age jokes. I have recently gone back to a company from a 9 year furlough, with many familiar faces. My favorite female colleague asked me how everyone looks. I said, "the same, except 9 years older"....."except for you of course" Close one. Very enjoyable photos, keep them coming please.

Anyone can be young and beautiful/handsome. Aging with grace, that's the challenge. Most of the people pictured have accomplished that. Cheers to you.

Edit: To answer Sooze, I'd say @ 178 attended. I'd expected 300 just because. I've gone thru the list and missed those of you who weren't able to get here. It's community and you make up an important part.

Actually Locker, I'd say you are like fine wine. The older it gets the better. Just a friendly observation...no one need go to deep with this.
