Walnuts, Milk, and h2o
Old bones
Don't feel what they felt
Old connections
Are what are left of my friendships
Old times
Are my memories respite
I don't feel what I felt on that day
But I'm glad that it was real
I don't know what I knew
But I'm still happy to learn
In this way
Old cars
They don't drive like they did
Old hands
They're not strong like they used to
Old eyes
They don't see quite as clear
I don't fear what I used to feared
But I'm glad that I got scared
I'm still confused about what is real
But I'm happy to sort it out
In my way
Old ears
They don't hear, say what?
Old words
They don't all mean what they meant
Old hearts
Well they will get bigger if you let them
I don't waste time like I used to
With no clue what it is worth
But the mystery of it passing
Still confounds me
I must say
Old loves
They don't ever go away
Old leaves
They will rustle on the field stones
Old names
Someday, will be all that remains

Oh, and sushi.
Who does not find this fascinating this early in the morning?

Been entirely to long ! A throw pie post I wish I'd got that in the right order.
The fun is that there may be lurkers who I'm sure don't care.
If in then all in
Hey Throw Pie Happy New Year !
There is this thing that I've not found a resolution that satisfies so I'll return to the topic and the pictures, not the video though then just to be sure the thing is strangely
A bottle on its side, a hexagonal shaped thing on the edge of the hold way high on the cliff
Bald Eagle ?
What is that ? a Bottle ? Glass ? Aluminum ? What is that all about ?

Hey Gnome happy New Year to you and warm greetings from Brizzle in the UK!
To answer your question it is a large bolt which was used to stabilise a large and unsafe block a number of years ago by the belay of one of the crag classic's I filmed called Central Groove. More details in the following link if interested:

As it was yesterday, I was the only one in the gallery except for the mail delivery person and my pal Eric the Picture Hanger.
It was fun hanging out with myself, for the most part.
Another of Linda F. Abbott's fine plein air paintings.
The grand dame of the Arbor, Mrs. Helen Swickard, was sitting in the shop yesterday. She's in her nineties and still going like a Timex watch. And still turning out her watercolors. I loved this one, "Japanese Parasols," but did not photograph it.There were several other works which have been recently added to the main gallery at the MAC, all done by artists from the Arbor Gallery, a collective. Some of these arboreal artists are associated with the Contemporary Humanitarian Artists Association which I talked of on the last page.Upstairs, the Haden ceramics are still on display.
The Merced Art Hop is being held this Saturday evening downtown. The Epekal Gallery on Canal has a new exhibit ready for that night, with a reception planned. This gallery is one which Kevin Hammon and Kim Zamorra have opened. (These are the two main promoters of the Art Hop.)
Kevin's getting into photography big now, and he showed me how he puts together his MAH magazine on the computer. He also showed off some of his work (I was a "captive audience," so why not?--most n00b photographers seem to do this, or at least I do it, too--and it's a sin of pride, for which I am most heartily sorry NOT).
Here's one he made at an Aftershock (rockers) concert in Sacto.

sometimes , in photos, by having the vertical and horizontal in juxtaposition, caused by the addition of an incongruous item, the effect can make it seem that the climber might be crawling on her knees, I tried to crop the picture achieve the effect.
t. A single stainless steel bolt will be drilled through the block and secured into the crag behind it, with a warning to climbers not to use it as an anchor point.
Well, goodness, for those here, I sent a message via the other site to
The master drone film maker; Bald Eagle.
I held true to the mas-inactions That we often use here on The Flames to keep things opaque, as in a small riddle and no mention (but one*)word as to
What it might be all about.
A master , sees the note and arrives with the answers that I sook.
*( I played with but chose not to use " You do not Gno Me" , as the title to the e-mail)
( I've now fixed the 'R' in riddle from an' f' three times)
