Happy 2017 ! Dingus!
I've screwed that all up I found the nagging lyric I had it all wrong. It is from
ROCK N ROLL DOCTOR, it was just posted here on the Flames(?)?
, yes thnx zB, here though it reads well Little Feat
Rock And Roll Doctor
Lyrics
Lowell George, Fred Martin
There was a woman in Georgia didn't feel just right
She had fever all day and chills at night
Now things got worse, yes a serious bind
At times like this it takes a man with such style I cannot often find
A doctor of the heart and a doctor of mind
If you like country with a boogie beat, he's the man to meet
If you like the sound of shufflin' feet. he can't be beat
If you wanna feel real nice, just ask the Rock and Roll doctor's advice
It's just a country town but patients come
From Mobile to Moline from miles around
From Nacodoches to New Orleans
In beat-up old cars or in limousines
To meet the doctor of soul, he's got his very own thing
Two degrees in be-bop, a phd in swing
He's the master of rhythm he's a rock and roll king
If you like country with a boogie beat he's the man to meet (he's the man to meet)
If you like the sound of shufflin' feet he can't be beat (I say he can't be beat)
If you... If you wanna
If you wanna feel real nice, just ask the Rock and Roll doctor's advice
I don't know what to say I've tried to listen to 'New' or more this century, decade( this seasons?) minerals, I've not yet been sucked in to more than one or to songs,
By random, as good music, I find that I more often than not listen to last century (POP)
The spurts I try to steer blow my mind by pulling out the Pink Floyd, or crazy 1960s stuff Buffalo Springfield ?!
Anyway I'm back to post this here[Click to View YouTube Video] & then on the new old cars thread that EdBannister '
the Gaurd rail' added by adding the simplest click-bate : cars , girls, an open appeal for stone nudes, . . . .
I'm still stuck, and happily amazed at the depth of sounds produced in the Last 50 Y'Rs of the last century.
From '70 to '80 I climbed from the Gunks to Tennessee, all over how is it you don't know me or I you?
As well it is for the better ?
DMT,
I'm sure you must have climbed at the obscurest places in the south.

you have to know how Badly I want to get a drill and anchors & go back to forgotten places,
all small, but I've climbed some out-there fun choss
The crew that was responsible went to the Newest crags that were word of mouth.
( (Sam's throne?), ya know, The tall geeky Jersey Boyz and the southern transplant to New Paltz, (he was at my wedding) I don't, know where all we went exactly as I was just a tag along. Not often but more than once the T-Wall was a week long objective.

Bolted Crack ? ! ?
And a *nauseating video taken from a shaky inflatable?
Of ' DWS' soloing from boats 100 ft off the water ,

And others. I always wonder about the strange things that I left in akwards, un-natural places.
Pierced bottle caps, mthree stacked rocks keyed just so into a crack? . .
Did you ever come across stupid stacked pebbles on a cramped or hanging belay?

The storms blowing up ! Going up the coast. We have it too. Digging out.
Only every 4-5 hours though, so that is not bad.

Week of sub-zero. New battery for the missus' ride. Fluck.
Cooped, similar to the chickens. Cluck.
I went for a walk down by the river.
Damn, I loathe signs.
So the one man travelling band moseyed down the river. To another spot without signs. And relieved the coopedness.
Nary a purposeful stack of pebbles was observed.

Salmon Cycle
Once the island I now know as Returner
Was named for a family named just Turner
There was an older name yet in place
It had been called Disappearing Place
By the people who lived there in the first place
The salmon came there every year with a gift for the people
Their pink flesh all nice and fresh was dried and kept safe
The salmon did not need the people
Only enough water to live and breed
The people treated them as guests
And they were happy to feed their friends
Who resembled their other friends
The large furry ones with the long claws
And the wide jaws the better to catch them up
And haul their nice and fresh pink flesh
On to the bloody shores of the place
Which sometimes drowned
But always returned to life
Another kind of man came and dammed the river
He preferred nuts to salmon and money to friends of the earth
He sought to drown the land by emptying the river
He fought the fight to bring cotton
Which absorbed more of the water
Causing the earth to parch in other places
And the soil to sink in still others
And then he dug long troughs which took the water
Over the mountains and into another place
Where the water was put to good use
On greens
In groves of oranges
Making strawberries red
And forming rainbows over the graves of the already dead
When I have been dead a very long long time
The salmon may return to the place which disappears
And may begin to wonder why they are still around
For they may have no good friends like the big shaggy brutes
Or the gentle people who genuinely liked and respected them
To welcome them back each year when they approach their destinies
But in their genes’ memories
Live those who no longer live
On the now nameless Island of No Return

Pete is holdin' up no fingers at all.
"My name's Bennett and I ain't in it."
Pete likes his teams to beep repaired.Justin Case, Gunnar Dye, and Peter "Peet" Petersen.
Garbage receptacles are not on their work list.
Maybe some other agency?
Call YOSAR and ask them.
Might give some idea of how high the water was.

Reached in my pocket and found a 1930 Buffalo (nee Indian Head) nickel.
More than face value these days - range $1.85 (G 04) to $450.00
On the other head, proto GD head (1937) $95.00

Bet you can't hit one, Blind Boy. :0)
More your speed. And mine. Escopeta would've loved this spot.
This is a good distance. It's not a barn, but we could likely get arrested for that.

Proceduraly speaking, I've never had one, though I'm being told that on the next colon-O-scope the Doctor (hope it ain't that rock-n-roll guy) prefers it.
No this isn't Broderick Crawford Jody, it's the other one.

Garcia taught Phil this guitar lick. Little known, but true (got it from Donna (not that one, the other one) who went to high school with Jerry).
Is that Dolores Nance on tambourine? Or is Bobbi Gentry.
