The gov't pulled this off but they couldn't manage to plant one measly little bit of WMD evidence in Iraq after they'd invaded with the super-secret black ops CIA guys? Just one little suspicious centrifuge part or a little vial of Anthrax would've done the trick!

But all of these groups are complicit: the FAA, CIA, NORAD, FBI, NIST, the 911 commission, the Pentagon, United Airlines, American Airlines, thousands of civil engineers, structural engineers, explosive engineers, fire engineers, building commissioners and inspectors in the 1970s... why, the payroll for keeping one's mouth shut over the mass murder must be *huge*!

I have news for you, this is what The Truthers believe: The Official Conspiracy Theory is flawed, the 9-11 Commission Report is a whitewash of the actual events that occurred.
Truthers make no attempt to determine why, or to imply by whom.
I doubt that all truthers would agree with this and most in your post. To me it seems like there are a lot of different theories around about what happened and truthers also trying to disprove other truthers theories.
It is of course possibly that I don't know what you mean with a truther.

How about this set of facts:
BATTALION 7 CHIEF ORIO PALMER: "Battalion Seven. Ladder 15, we've got two isolated pockets of fire. We should be able to knock it down with two lines. Radio that, 78th floor, numerous 10-45 Code Ones." (―10-45 Code Ones‖ is referential to dead bodies)
It is extremely noteworthy that the radio transmissions of Battalion 7 Chief Orio Palmer and the radio responses to it literally occurred only seconds prior to the total collapse in WTC 2. According to the official U.S. government explanation, at that moment there should have been massive structural failings at that section of the building at that time. Therefore, according to the official version, the firefighters should have been rushing, panic-struck, to evacuate anyone that they could and as rapidly as they could, including themselves. Yet they are not doing so. What they are doing at that moment, in reality, is calmly and professionally preparing to move up to floor 79 to rescue more people.
Below are their transmissions from moments before the collapse:
LADDER 15: "Chief, what stair you in?"
BATTALION 7 CHIEF ORIO PALMER: "South stairway Adam, South Tower."
LADDER 15: "Floor 78?"
BATTALION 7 CHIEF ORIO PALMER: "Ten-four. Numerous civilians, we gonna need two engines up here."
BATTALION 7 CHIEF ORIO PALMER: "Tower one. Battalion Seven to Ladder 15.
LADDER 15: "Fifteen."
BATTALION 7 CHIEF ORIO PALMER: "I‘m going to need two of your firefighters Adam stairway to knock down two fires. We have a house line stretched, we could use some water on it, knock it down, 'kay?'

raymond, there are a lot of folks who don't believe the OCT and will say all sorts of things, including creating massive conspiracy theories that somehow explain the events of 9-11.
However, there are many "official" sites that seek the truth behind 9-11. These sites take an objective look at the evidence and, in doing so, prove that the 9-11 Commission Report and the subsequent NIST report are flawed and do not take all the evidence into account in their investigations.
The "official" Truther movement wants an open and honest investigation into the 9-11 events. An investigation that takes into accounts things such as:
- The testimony Mineta gave under oath
- The explosions in the WTC building that were reported by so many people, with many pictures showing photographic evidence, radio transmissions, and such
- The mysterious Pentagon event, where photos of the impact zone show no evidence of a plane hitting the building
Any person with the ability to objectively look at the evidence can easily conclude that the 9-11 Commission Report is a fraud. The people involved with Truth movement don't want to live with that fraud.

I find it odd, Riley, that you admit above that the 9-11 Commission Report was a CYA whitewash of events, yet you still defend it to the core.
Can you explain to me your seemingly double standard on this.
In the report linked to below, we have page after page of firefighters giving accounts about their first-hand experience of hearing/seeing explosions in the WTC buildings. Yeah really, check out pages 13-19 of the following file, it's pretty incredible, it even gives the names of the firefighters quoted (this stuff had to be obtained through a FOIA request):

"Firefighter Louie Cacchioli stated: My story was never mentioned in the final report and I felt like I was being put on trial in a court room. I finally walked out. They were trying to twist my words and make the story fit only what they wanted to hear. All I wanted to do was tell the truth and when they wouldn't let me do that, I walked out.... It was a disgrace to everyone, the victims and the family members who lost loved ones. I don't agree with the 9/11 Commission. The whole experience was terrible."
Later in the report, accounts of people knowing that WTC 7 was going to be brought down.
Yet y'all will turn a blind eye to it so that you can believe the Gov't wouldn't actually lie to you. It'd be funny if it wasn't so sad.
And Locker, to me you're just the Village Fool. But when you start insulting folks, you should have something to back up the insults.
But I guess a fool doesn't need to be anything but a fool.
One more time, I'm gonna try to do more productive things. However, if anybody wants to discuss the facts and evidence, I'd be happy to.

And yes, there's really nothing we can do about 9-11, except to let it be known we don't buy their crap. I suppose we'll have to live with it, because I don't expect there will ever be a real investigation. The damage has been done, move on and live with it.
However, hopefully if folks look at this stuff and see the extent of what happened on that day, maybe next time we'll be able to say, as you have, "Fooled me once..."
BTW, evidence of explosions in the WTC buildings is not conspiracy stuff. It's is factual evidence.
After reading about WTC 7, I have to wonder about Rox's musings regarding the EOL'ing of buildings...

lets try for a moment and question everything, all aspects.
why is it that there are no respected journalists writing books about this with unrefuted evidence (as many truthers on this thread claims exists)? why is it that there are no "insiders" speaking out about a potential inside job? what is the government hiding? did the government willingly take the lives of their citizens to promote more power for the military-industrial complex? what was the motivation for 911 if it were done by our own government?
you ever been in a traffic accident? two cars. frequently two different stories between drivers. what one is correct? now extrapolate that to the scale of 911. thousands of people, each with their own perspective. some with axes to grind. some wanting something out of it as there is no way to simply accept ones testimony without an understading of what is motivating that person. of course there will be discrepancies.
if all your questions were tidied up and wrapped up with a bow with no dissenting opinions on the official version then that is when you ought to worry...
