Lock up the welfare cowboy and his nutcase sons. These people are dangerous, treasonous thugs.
This may go bad, in which case Fox, especially that hambone Hannity, will have blood on their hands.

Sometimes I picture Rong like Geoge Wallace defiantly standing in the way of Federal Law and the National Guard.
Hey how'd that work out for him?

These mental midgets are fodder for Fox. Gonna turn one of them into the next Timothy McVeigh. Hope it's not a ST member, but some of the regulars here sound pretty deranged.

Breitbart is dead, dude D'oh. Boy I really blew that one. May I insert that fat Oxytocin snorting, inane big mouth Limbaugh?
Insert your favorite Unfair and Mentally Imbalanced faux news darling here.........
and
Hey how'd that work out for him? You mean besides a bullet through the abdomen, chest and one in his spinal column and a wheelchair for the rest of his life?
Although, there was no political motivation for the attention seeker who shot him.
And a curious fact:
Following the assassination attempt, Wallace was visited at the hospital by Democratic Congresswoman and presidential primary rival Shirley Chisholm One might recall (or might not have ever known) Shirley Chisholm was the only African American woman member of Congress at the time. George Wallace was the racist, segregationist governor of Alabama.
Talk about Compassion for your enemy.
Wallace aired television advertising with slogans such as "Do you want the black bloc electing your governor?" and circulated an ad showing a white girl surrounded by seven black boys, with the slogan "Wake Up Alabama! Blacks vow to take over Alabama."

An officer for the BLM was RECORDED telling one of the protesters that they were "under orders" to SHOOT anyone attempting to free the cows from a temporary holding pen, and that they could SHOOT anyone showing up with firearms. Got a quotable reference for that assertion?
Sorry you missed the far too subtle humor in asking you to stop smoking pot. I meant it figuratively. Whether or not you do or did smoke pot is none of my business and I really don't care. I'm sorry if you took offense.

Hmmmm... Although I won't go as so far to call anyone here "Bloodthirsty"... but being proud of following all of the federal and state edicts certainly puzzles me. I pay taxes too and am NOT proud of it knowing that my money is used by an evil regime to sew dissent and to kill and maim people all over the world. 10 years ago I laughed when other countries were referring to the US as Satanic and evil. How could that possibly be I wondered in my little bubble of ignorance?
There's nothing wrong with most Americans that either can't see what's happening or choose denial. I can relate. But all empires collapse and we certainly have had a good run. Before they turn us all on each other it's time to remove all the entirely corrupt power structures that are taking this country straight into economic collapse and another senseless world war. The lies are running out.
How to effect that change is the question since the original means of elections and whatnot are merely a circus now. But that question, that need for drastic change remains and is what fuels people to drive thousands of miles with their rifles to defend some rancher in Nevada.
Think of that. Those people would have died for cattle in some blasted scrubby desert. Misdirected anger for sure but more of a sign the kettle is starting to boil.

Hope springs eternal.
Hey Ron do you think if MLK had advocated armed insurrection that we would still live in a racially segregated America?

"It will COME TO YOUR DOORS EVENTUALLY WHAT YOU SEND TO THE WORLD!"
It is here Tioga. Not, "it will come", it has come. Now. You can see it here or there right at the door, just entering now. There are all kinds of signs that the expansionist, hedonistic, only care about the ends and not the means forigon policy we have, and that the United States has troops stationed in 130 countries is coming home to roost. We see it in our militaristic police, we see it in government mandated "First amendment zones" where you can or cannot speak truth as the gov sees it and not as our constitutions sees it, we see it in the NSA recording everything we do, we see it here we see it there.
Here's one that most of these posers shockingly don't give a crap about: Our President (who seems like an otherwise decent person) regularly evaluates whom he will kill, American Citizens included, without a trial. These dipshit libtards around here will go on and on supporting the policy. Guys like High Traverse, Mechrist, Kos, etc etc. They have no answer about this except to accuse you of being a Bush supporter (I voted for Kerry 2nd election) and changing the topic. So blame Bush (he should get blame, but less blame than the US expansionist colonial policy's that our whole system supports) The chickens are coming home to roost for us. Right here. Right now. It's clear to all but the blind.
Best to you and yours sir.

Interesting how posted are spit into two opinions, far apart from each other.
I'm reading a book, The Harvest of Rage, by local Colorado author Joel Dyer, that explores how these wildly divergent viewpoints came about. Fascinating.
In the prosperous 1970s farmers and ranchers were actively encouraged to take out big loans by the banks and the feds. What could go wrong? A few years later things changed and it all went south. Thousands of farmers were forced off their farms and into poverty. The banks that lent the money, of course, did great, foreclosing on the land, reselling it.
Those hit by this crisis were, as ever, loyal, conservative, patriotic. Their instinct was to blame themselves for their gullibility. Suicide rates went up, marriages fell apart.
Meanwhile there is always a tiny hard core of haters, white supremacists, religious nuts. They saw their chance and preyed on these lost souls, telling them that it was not their fault that they had been dispossessed. Depending on the whim of the hater/preacher, it was a cabal of jewish bankers or a sign of the start of the end times or some crazy conspiracy or other. This way, the frustration and anger could be directed not at their own country (for these were patriotic, loyal farmers and they would not go there) but at the secret conspiracy that had corrupted and taken over the government and who had subverted the Constitution. The Constitution came from God, and changes to it were therefore evil and had to be stopped...that kind of twaddle. The militias, aspiring to both be patriotic toward a slightly different version of the same country that they were ready to fight, grew out of this.
There was (and is) a grain of truth to the conspiracy theories. The way the feeds treated the farmers in the 1980s was heartless, cruel. The banks thrived. The biggest, wealthiest people did just fine, buying up all the small farmers's land, getting fat. There was the appearance of a conspiracy.
Back to 2014: Bundy's frustrations are very real. Running cattle in the West in this day and age is hard work and not very profitable. It has to be getting harder and harder, year by year. Most of the rural economy is now run by a cartel of huge, powerful corporations, Cargill, Tyson, etc, who control vast wealth and weld enormous power. There's only crumbs left for the little guys. Of course the little guys find this frustrating. It's too bad that Bundy's frustrations (and many others') have been so skillfully redirected to absurd arguments confusing BLM, state's rights, his own rights. He now has the appearance of a simple tax-cheat, which is not at all what he intended, I'm sure.
Dyer's analysis (though he wrote long before the modern, Bundy update) gives a way to see how we got to where we are. Eye-opening book.

I read a lot of that article Ron.
Pretty good attempt at being fair and balanced. Contradicts a lot of the more bizarre conspiracy theories.
However, it's very very short on references.
I also think it has a couple of downright errors but I'm not going to bother digging for the facts.
It will be interesting to see what the Nevada legislature actually finds in their investigation.
The straightforward takeaway is when citizens try to oppose the legal actions of the government (whatever the motivation or validity) things can get very nasty in a hurry. The people have the right to complain, march in the streets, sit down in the parks, lobby, fund Libertarian candidates, whatever. But when they threaten force against the government (which they did) the government will respond with greater force (as it should). It is very lucky that no one fired a shot.
I'd give the "militias" a lot more slack if they were speaking up about the dozens of unarmed innocent citizens who are killed by the police every year.
By the way. The movie "Fruitvale Station" is really worth seeing. It illustrates exactly the mayhem that results when a group of people who have done nothing illegal are confronted by armed security guards and are not immediately compliant.
Sh#t happens.
