How about we be less concerned about what personality disorders we each have and just enjoy the ride? lol

I never generated any drama. Jonny boy had to jump in and go on the attack and spread all these lies to make me look bad. I was just pokin' around initially.

Very few lucky fellas have experienced the true tour, but carry on with the fantasy. Tickets come at a high price lol

the drama was pretty profound. But so what, why are we so ashamed about human emotion?

If you're into personality disorders, I know just the guy for you! over 30 but emotionally about 13, You'd have to do all the leading, but he'd take the credit! in his mind he's one of the best...

I'm interested in talking to and analyzing personality disorders, but I'm not interested in dating personality disorders.

Any more hot dudes around here?

...not even close. Has it occurred to you that possibly the drama and bullshit that you slung and that of "Jonnhy boy"(isn't that just a tad dramatic, referring to someone in a derogatory fashion?) might be seen as coming from two separate and distinct individuals?

Of course not! Because you see the world through the filter of self, and self only. Everything is as it pertains to you, yourself and....yuchk. Remember - YOU followed THAT person here. Not the other way around. He was doing a fine job at trolling for the 24 hours before you posted up this thread.

And - did it come as a COMPLETE surprise to you that he would react in the way he did?

It DID? Really! Well then, miss, all I can suggest is that you ask your doc for an eye exam, because someone sold you a pair of mirrors instead of working goggles.

The goods news is that some guys actually get turned on by narcisistic self-absorbed women. Quite often, apparently. And then you see them pissing and moaning about how insane the woman was, as if it doesn't take two to tango.

But no drama on your part? You really have got to be kidding. If you really do not see the drama on your part, I feel sorry for you, and can only hope it is due to the fact you are only 24 years old, fresh out of school and have little inkling as to how the world actually functions.

PTC wrote See, I never even knew he had a whole thread dedicated to him, yet somehow females (especially me) have this intuitive and instinctive ability to pick out the worthy dudes in one millisecond.

PTC if you are so good at picking out the worthy dudes how did you end up with the creepy stalker dude?

I never picked him-he noticed me on summitpost and started harassing me and suggesting the US trip. To me, it was an outdoor partner so I said "ok, sounds good." You know, contrary to popular belief, women don't always and only hang out with love interests.

PTC,

If a man could have the ability to deal with one and only one personality disorder, what kind of disorder do you think it would be best for him to be able to deal with?

How do I know? Let me think.

Probably Avoidant Personality Disoder, seems like the less severe and less disruptive of them all for relationship purposes. A woman with APD just means you would have a great! wife in the home.

You call the shots, you let the creep into your house. sounds like worthy dude decteter was a bit flawed on that one........

nah, dude. worthy man detector works for the purposes of romantic interest. When it comes to finding outdoor partners (which is usually my priority), I utilize the "any fit human being who is interested in pursuing hard outdoor objectives" detector.

Letting someone into your house is just to better utilize an ongoing adventure agenda-it saves money for my outdoor partner and its easier/more convenient as a basecamp when I had to be in LA to finish my degree. When the schedule follows something like this: Got to be in LA from 9am-10pm Monday, departure Tuesday early AM for outdoors-you got to have your partner there for a more efficient flow.

the problem with that reasoning is that you end up climbing with asholes who make for an unpleasant experience. I prefer to solo unless i can partner up with someone who is genuinly good to be around. Climbing with people i do not feel a good karmic connection with just feels like work to me...

Well I agree with you in that regard, I also prefer to solo, but I am not the one to solo 5th class terrain. I'll probably solo my 7 day Inyo expedition this coming spring. The thing is, I am so interested in the outdoor objective I sort of just don't really pay much attention to who I am with. But I agree with you, I had some severe problems with jonny boy this past summer. My determination to be in the outdoors managed to carry me through. (also because of my study/speciality with abnormal psychology, I am not as intimidated by creeps/weirdos/psychos/lunatics/nutcases)

It's cost/benefit.

Solo: lots of $$$$ required, not as many trips accomplished

partner up with anyone: teamwork, efficiency, more trips get accomplished, harder routes, cheaper, etc.

so you are willing to hang out with as#@&%es just to save a few bucks and tic more climbs?

less is more. Who you do a climb with and the experience that you share is just as enriching as the climb itself....

Soloing = freedom. Climbing significant climbs as a team = bonding and lifelong memories
