Sorry, I didn't really mean that. It just sounded funny at the moment. I crack myself up.

1) about half a 5th of makers over the last few hrs, and a pbr tallboy
2) inflammatory comment? hmm, I just deleted what I wrote- perhaps not cool. Second try: ... F*#k it I'm not an angry drunk, I'm trying way too hard to talk sh#t.
3) shoveled some snow, ok, a lot of f*#kign snow, around some fuel tanks, it's slushing and freezing with this front.
I just wish it was a real whisky front instead of a partial occlusion so I could be officially grounded. plus a little nicotine helps, well not really, but it sure brings that 4th cup of coffee along quite nicely. ahh, but I reminisce..
is there a 4th rule or am I just off my rocker a bit?
meh.
I sincerely hope that your drunk fri is better than my drunk friday; which is to say you're happy you're not at man camp.

I really like the ST. I check in and read up and even though I have a huge gaping vag from time to time, I still really like to see whats up and pretend that I still can climb because I know what you guys are talking about from my portable wifi armchair. But seriously, I'd much rather just be climbing and not writing this dribble or reading this bullshat but that's where I'm at at the moment.

dig? no? well, cant blame you. hope it's warmer and drier where you're at..

goodnight and goodluck ladies and gents

Dig? Sure I can dig it, man. Sometimes you can't be where you really want to be. We all go through that to some extent or another. Patience and alcohol are sometimes all we have. Oh wait, there is the Taco...

Let it ride.

My My! You folks sure have fun after we go to bed. Never was a night owl and Choss Creek is in the Mountain Time Zone.

Oh well, we do believe in Bob Dylan lyrics around here.

Everybody must get stone!

It is a sad, sad thing that I missed my own damn post yet again on Friday night. Sheesh.

A while back, Fritz wrote:

"PTPP: Sorry that I wasn't more specific on the Cline Zin. I agree, the cheap Cline Zin is shisty. Cline Ancient Vines has been selling at our local Costco for $9.99 a fifth, so it is in my price range."

I picked up some Cline Ancient Vine Zin in Kentucky last week, and am drinking it now. It is emphatically no hell. The colour is not very deep, either. I will not longer buy Cline. It is off my list.

J. Lohr from Paso Robles remains superb, had some of their Chard the other night. Great stuff indeed.

So if I'm drunk on Sunday night and posting on the wrong thread, then... I haven't been climbing enough eh?

Indeed!

Climbing conditions have been challenging, and drinking conditions have been:

fair to excellent.

PTPP. Sorry that the Cline Ancient Vines sucked. I am starting to "wise-up" to the dismal fact that a fair amount of wine that gets shipped to the hinterlands in late summer: gets "cooked" on the way.

The fine-wine taste is damaged by the above 100 degree truck-ride, or hotter than hades warehouse.

It is not unusual for us to sample the recommended wine that tastes like schist.

Living Life in the sticks.

So it goes.

I forgive you.

When are you bringing a bottle to the bridge? I think if it's glass we have to be off the bridge.

Or we could just drink beer?!

Yep! Hope it to make it back to Yosemite next year.

Re bad vino.

I would buy a decent bottle of wine at an Idaho market, with a Winery, location, & year-----and it would taste----mighty fine.

I would buy some more a short while later-----always late summer, early fall, and it would be foul schist.

I tell you:

Somebody is:

Screwing the Pooch, so far as transporting or storing some shipments of grocery store wine in Idaho.

Right, I'm not going to miss this or forget it this week.

Changeover Time [coffee to beer] usually occurs earlier on Fridays, and mid-afternoon I am easing into it by adding some Bailey's to my coffee.

Geez, can we hit a thousand posts by the end of the year?

See? There actually is at least one boss in the world who "gets it"...

And here I thought you had to be self-unemployed [like me] to find one.

Dood, 'reefer' is old skool for 'fridge' which is why I gave you the hint
about drinking red.
