I'll toss in $ 100 if it's John M. or Steve G. does it by the end of next year. Great climbers both, I'd be happy to contribute towards their further knowledge gather efforts. If Mimi accompanies either it's doubled to $200.
$ 20 for anyone else.
Real money, not words. Thanks for the effort Bubba Ho tep. (Are you that Egyptian climber?)

couchmaster and Bubba Ho--you might as well give up on seeing me up there anytime soon.
Clipping a boatload of 25-year-old Z-macs, hooking and heading up a slab ain't my bag, baby.
Werner put it best, of course.

Ya know what's going happen? Some team is going to get all goosed up with special hooks, bra shaped rope bags, and inflatable accoutrements only to find a wandering 5.7 friction slab after the first pitch.
Yeah, it's the next Royal Arches.

Hey Gunkie, that could be challenging for a lot of "big wall specialists."

If I can do it with just a trained lizard does that count as a solo?

No problem John. Do you have any price that you would take to fire this route? $10,000, $20,000---->? If you are out it's gonna fall to Steve Grossman then. Notice I said either/or so my money is there for SG.
Steve, you and Mimi? I'm thinking that the beauty of it is that digital cameras have evolved to where you can document each divot and nugget of granitic bliss.

Surely you meant document each massively chipped hook hold and fruit bat hole.

Do you take euros?
Don't worry, Sawyer, we'll take your money...
It's suicide sittin' in these woods, waitin' for them Federals to pick us off anyhow.
I'm short on cash.
Will these do?
That's two nigger scalps? I'll see you with one Dutch scalp.
I'm out on this one.
I just got money.
Don't worry, Turner, we'll take your money...

You guys are dreamin' if you think topless chicks are gonna fire the 2nd of this thing.
But, to get more realistic (and into a position where topless chicks might be more fun!),
I'll offer $100 apiece to any topless chicks who cheer the SA team on while they do
the first two pitches.
Haz ta be at least two of 'em though (the chicks, I mean).

couch-that's like the Winston Churchill story where he asked the woman if she would sleep with him for a million pounds. She told him yes, she would. Then he asked if she would sleep with him for a ten shillings. She replied, "What do you take me for, a whore?" Churchill then replied, "Ma'm, we've already established that, now we're just haggling over price."
Though I had never given it much thought prior to these threads, the route is uninspiring to me and seems extremely contrived with 145+ holes. Honestly, I've been trying to see it in a different light, and for a moment or two almost got there, but it's only led to bitterness and quarrel, so climbing a route like that ain't bringing me out of retirement. I'd go for ten g's to give Turning Point a go, though.

$200 I offered to see Mimi and Steve Grossman do this? I MUST have been drinking. I would have been good for it then but that had a 1 year expiration date. If Ammon and Kaite (who are on it now) do it I'm good for a 40 ozer and I'll send Fish $2.00 via paypal for a beer just because. He can sh#t on their ropes if he wants to recreate the flavor of the original if he thinks it will help anyone.
BTW, Grossmans routes were amazing and his posts here are all fantastic, with the exception of his bitching on the WOS carp. Big respect still to the man. I'd like to see him confront this demon yet, wish he was up with Ammon and kaite for that reason.
Take care all
