Lookin like this is going to be a no go for me. I'm still recovering post-op from gallbladder surgery a couple of weeks ago. I may try to come down just to hang out, but we'll see. I might be able to talk the wife into car camping.

Not sure on the regs, but cochise has little enough plant life (and dead stuff for the critters) as it is. leave the downed wood down and bring your firewood.

Pagan,

I'm afraid you might have to get a 'brazilian', and that might cost you thousands. I am looking to go climbing early Friday at Lemon, how about that. We could trip down to Cochise that evening? I am going to arrive Tuscon Thursday afternoon and can help nature abduct yogi hotties...er I mean load stuff in his trailer if necessary. Forest that makes sense especially with a group. Doug I take it the firewood is bulk. Let me know what kind of help you need.

I can just picture it.... the monkey boy in a "trim shop" covered head to toe in wax. All the ladies working there are all grinning at the fact that they get to start ripping his hair off. They fill a dumpster. He's left with nothing but his eyebrows, a little fuzz below the lip and the hair coming out his.... um... oh nevermind... the visual just made me burp up a little stomach fluid.

Tim: are you bringing the truck or the car? I have to work Friday morning but hope to be leaving town by 3PM at the latest. We can pack the trailer on Thursday night. I'll stay sober so I can drive to pick up PMB who comes in around 10PM.

Firewood is in bulk. It's two blocks away and they have all sorts. A full wheel barrow of pine costs $20, mesquite $30. The guy has a lot full of wood. I should be able to have room in the All-In™. And yeah... Forest has a good point... and besides, why make more work for ourselves?

Oh... and Burning Barn members take note:

"What's Inside a Girl" by The Cramps has been added to the set list. Start practicing!!!

PMB can sing :-)

and the best part is we don't need a bass player.

Did I mention we moved the party to the East Stronghold? Not that folks won't hear you all the way from the Dunes... I mean the west side.

I'm just sayin'....

Sorry I can't make it. For those of you who are there, please hoist one in memory of Ouch!, on Friday. February 13th was his birthday.

East side Doug. Why so. Isn't there camping REALLY close to cragging at the west? A real big camp. Last time we were there it was heavily impacted by a whole slew of horse people. I don't know much about the east, but would always prefer close climbing at Sushi fests. And I've got to bring my sedan, the truck tires are no gud and won't be replaced immediately. Maybe a Tusconite can help with a little wood haul. Advise.
